If I were Chavez here is what I would have done. I would have imprisoned them instead of turning them over to amerikan contacts. And then told Bush and the amerikan media that Venezuela was going to build and operate a Gitmo-style prison for any captured amerikan terrorist/spies that threaten their "homeland", and that these 4 spies would be the first to go, and of course, no trial, and no lawyers. Once this story made it to the amerikan media with all kinds of outrage from neocon pundits, I would then ask Larry King to come interview me. During the interview I would trash Bush for an hour, finally tell King I never was serious about Gitmo prisons and that only tyrannical regimes do that kind of thing, and that the prisoners were released during the interview and are headed back to the states. And then look in the camera and say "this is for Bush the punk" and flip him the bird.

But that's just me.
