You guys are killing me!! I've got all these things to do, but the discussion is so provocative I've got to jump in.

I have no idea why you-all are jumping all over NewKid -- just because someone has a difference in perspective doesn't mean he's a troll. Au contraire, you guys should be welcoming the fact that there is someone with a refreshingly skeptical point of view, to provide some counterpoint to the increasingly overheated, spiralling hysteria that has made this thread rather suffocating.

I swear (I'd put my hand on my heart, but, you know...), I am not a troll, yet my experience and learning have made me trust logic and reason and very suspicious of the belief that some people can control the "dark forces". In fact, even the emphasis on 'faith', especially by politicians, gets my back up.

Whether you believe that those who dominate the world, the 'players', are satanists or greedy sociopaths, what they must fear above all are intelligent, well-informed people of integrity. On the other hand, once you give in to the irrational, you've established the precedent of shutting your mind to logic and the evidence of your own eyes, a process that 'they' have devoted much effort to hijacking for their own purposes.

Chacun son gout, as they say. Some people feel comfortable poring over pictures, examining hand-shakes with a magnifying glass, trying to figure out who the anti-Christ is, making numerical calculations of birthdates and names and whatever.

Others prefer to take a more prosaic approach to the problems we all face. When we look at Dick Cheney, we see different things, yet we agree he is a bad man, in league with other bad men.

I honestly don't believe Cheney has harnessed any dark powers other than the ones we have abdicated to him and his cronies, through our ignorance, fear and lack of organization. All the information we've needed to stop these people has been available -- but because it wasn't spoon fed to us via the msm, we didn't see it.

We weren't paying attention, when these war criminals were orchestrating the murders and rapes and tortures of brown people in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, thereby amassing vast fortunes that they used to eventually buy or corrupt all the safeguards for our freedom that were so painstakingly erected by previous generations.

Comfortable and complacent in our lazy-boy chairs, eating our processed junk food and enthralled by our junk entertainment, we were too stupefied and lethargic. We didn't care about what was going on "over there", and only now are waking up to a new world, where the press, the entertainment media, the judiciary and elected officials have been corrupted and infiltrated. Call it the 'revolving door', call it 'the octopus', call it the Illuminati or whatever, it didn't emerge fully grown -- it took generations to come into the kind of global power it has today.

I think all of us perceive that there is a terrible danger to humanity and our planet. All of us desire to see human beings live in dignity and freedom and justice. If we have disagreements, let's talk about them and test our ability to defend our points of view through intelligent debate. I, for one, have benefitted immensely through my own disagreements and arguments with others in this forum who know how to defend their ideas and provide valuable information and facts to support them.

That's the kind of thing the PTB really, really hate, because it's the only kind of thing that poses a true danger to their hegemony.
