yesterday i typed a post on the belgium thread (which I lost and didn't then retype and send), re ritual, using the example that some abusive groups were as likely to be abusing in a george clooney mask as in a hooded cloak (this example came from testimony of survivor). is nothing sacred!

The Jones `invasion` is a flick; it simply didn`t happen. He is a major disinformant.
Get over it please.

Re: Clooney--if I (also a Progressive) were he and I received an invitation to attend a gathering of elite scum like the Bohemian Club generally draws, I'd accept in a New York minute! Of course, being female, I'm unlikely to ever get one, so if he goes in the place of all of the people who deplore the NeoCon trash who generally attend and he baits them with both wit and wisdom, as he is wont to do, then I will be thrilled.

And re: Jone's video--you cannot have actually watched it yourself, or you would already know that if it's a fake, then he had to have engaged a cast of hundreds to make it. The number of men standing among the redwoods is considerable. And the expense of constructing the huge statue of Moloch and hiring real actors and special effects people to do the "destruction of cares" ceremony would have been significant, in and of itself.

Yet it's posted online for free viewing--the amount of money Jones has made from it is extremely unlikely to have even begun to approach what it would have cost to make it, even if some of those men shown in it were volunteers.

IOW, your statement that it's a fake doesn't hold water. Unless, of course, you have an explanation for how it was financed. And from what I've read on his site, he's actually exposed quite a few likely sources of disinformation. I'd be interested to know your sources for your assertions.

LilyPat

Scratching my head at the 'fake' comment as well. No way is all that footage fake.

BTW, I'm an artist who sometimes does work in image editing programs and the part that focuses on the stage and the ritual does not look like CG to me at all. So Pah is saying that actual actors and a set and special effects were paid for...and Alex Jones just doesn't strike me as someone who would have had the budget to stage it. Just MO, YMMV. But I'd like to see a more substantial argument made for it being fake. A drive-by post with no proof and no follow up doth not a debunking make.

LilyPat

No, it's not fake. Several magazines have chronicled the same stuff. (In fact, Ransom has a story about his dad thinking Jones paid people to dress up in robes because he was too taken aback by the footage.)

The interesting question is why? Is it just fun and games? An overgrown fraternity ritual? If so, where did they get the idea to do this? Where did they get the rhetoric for the ceremony? What does the audience think they're watching? What do the participants think?

"The Jones `invasion` is a flick; it simply didn`t happen"

Yes, it did. I have spoken with Mary Moore, the head of the Bohemian Grove Action Network, and she told me that they helped Jones get in. She also said that he was a real handful. So, what else is new.

Why is it that people think a conspiracy personality could stage some elaborate event on film, but many of the same people would scoff at the notion that a professional intelligence organization would ever do the same?

The film is real...the question is, is it just a bunch of guys playing dress up?

By the way, what's up with the Moloch thing? the film is real but an owl is not a symbol of Moloch...Athena maybe. I'm happy to be corrected about that, but I think it's one of those sloppy interpretive things that always screw up genuine attempts to look into the stuff.

This seems to be a typical representation of Moloch:

This monstrosity was supposedly used to sacrifice children. That is, the statue itself was a device to do so. I THINK that this is accepted as fact even by mainstream historians...though I'm open to correction on that as well.

Also, related sort of. For awhile on the net there was a film allegedly of a skull and bones initiation including a "fake" sacrifice of a woman by cutting her throat. I am pretty sure that the S and B folks confirmed it was real but that the sacrifice was just playacting. Even if fake, it's still creepy, but I couldn't find it again. It's shot with a nightvision scope.

Anyway, if nothing else, BG and S and B show that elites like to dress up in robes and pretend to sacrifice people. I'm thinking that alone ought to be a bit of a red flag, eh?

Minerva = Athena. And I've always assumed this was the case.

Doh! I didn't see your next comment.

That's right. Athena's the greek. Minerva's the Roman.
