Okee. Cold hands, cold feet, slowed heart rate and increased urination. Sounds like fun! Too bad I won't remember any of it...
Maybe it would help in PTSD after the fact, but for active soldiers the side effects would probably make them useless on the field. Less blood to the brain would probably cause bad aim too
Neither Drugs.com nor WebMD even hint at memory loss as a side effect.

scopolamine. thats the [amnestic] ticket.

so youre under the knife. you cant as much as bat an eyelash cause they administered a paralytic like d-tubocurarine - surgeons dont like cutting a patient who is thrashing about. only problem is the anesthetic didnt work. so youre fully conscious and feel EVERYTHING. can you say major lawsuit? and then....amnestic to the rescue!

anesthetiologists got some screwed up shit in their bag of tricks.

scopolamine

Postby Dreams End » Tue Aug 02, 2005 7:19 pm

Thanks, anon. I think that is the name of the drug I was curious about. Think about a drug that erases memories and compare to the sorts of stuff that gets discussed here. Really frightening.
