I posted this link in another thread, but it deserves its own. This site is an excellent compilation of studies validating the ideas that traumatic memories can be "repressed" (not the term they use, as that word implies a particular mechanism) and then recovered.<br><br>It points out that therapy is not nearly the most likely place for this to happen. <br><br>It shows that such "recovered" memories of abuse are on a par with continuous memories of abuse in terms of accuracy.<br><br>It's a must resource as you battle the FMSF's logic of "memories CAN be implanted by hypnosis, therefore all recovered memories are false."<br><br><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK START--><a href="http://www.jimhopper.com/memory/">www.jimhopper.com/memory/</a><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK END--><br> <p></p><i></i>
