I've quoted a few below.

Quote:
saswatblog
Whats so strange about it? Disney was friend of McCarthy in the witch-hunt era. The company was a declared Nazi supporter. So also were so many american automobile and other firms today owning reputations...

NVMojo
Well, my mom was a girl when Hitler was riding through her Bavarian town and they had to line up and do the "Heil Hitler" bit. Troops would storm into the homes on occasion and if there was enough warning, her mom had a picture of Jesus on the wall that she'd flip over to show Hitler as if they revered him ...two of my uncles served in Hitler's Youth Army ...wandered home, hungry and cold when it was all over ...

kraussm1
in 1941 hollywood supported war against fascism, in 2006 hollywood bends over backwards to excuse fascism, funny what difference 60 years make.

adalgiso77
I think it's hilarious that the subtitles are in German

Kajico
People assume that Cartoons are for kids. Adults from the 30s through the 50s would frequent theaters that showed various cartoons of different genres. Yes there was a lot of child oriented films back then, but there were adult cartoons, many of them being either education, or informative. There are also cartoons that were seen only by U.S. soldiers for entertainment (not propaganda), look for the SNAFU series of cartoons, a couple directed by none other than Theodore Suess Geisel (Dr. Suess).

Kajico
Wait what? America is diverse in all respects, including Animation. Disney is not the only animation production company out there. Warner Bros, Max Fleisher, MGM, and Paramount all produced various animations, portraying different ideals. WB, and Fleisher cartoons weren't all sun flowers and daisies, many of them appealed to adults and children. Later on Hanna Barbara studios opened up and again they had a completley different style. America didn't grow up on Disney alone.

Kajico
not only that but so many people are falling for a very important message that this video shows. Sees what the party wants them to see, says what the party wants them to say, and does only what the party wants them to do. Sounds to me a lot like what many Democrats and Republicans are doing. It's ok to be whatever party you want to be, but in my opinion, you shouldn't bow down to everything they say, speak out for the bad things they do as well. I mean that for both parties equally.

Bondo78
Isn't really banned. You can get this and most other WWII-era Disney (propaganda) cartoons on the "Disney Treasures: On the Front Lines" DVD box set.

frycookonvenus
Did you even watch the video?

danembraceddc
is this a satirical cartoon...i can't really tell.
