Good reads!

spitfirelist.com/Books/books.html

These books are old and a little antiquated, but are priceless sources of information. A lot are pre CIA and Paperclip, so you can get the good lowdown on Fascist Infiltration before post-war suppression.

Also, if you have some money to burn:

Dreamer of the Day: Francis Parker Yockey and the Postwar Fascist International by Kevin Coogan

Quick Summary:
An eight-year FBI manhunt ended on June 6, 1960, when Francis Parker Yockey, one of the most shadowy figures inside the postwar far right, was arrested in California. Shortly after his capture, the 43-year-old mystery man was found dead in his jail cell. An autopsy showed that he had swallowed a cyanide capsule.

"Yockey is best known for his book Imperium, a massive neo-Spenglerian tome often described as a "Mein Kampf for neo-Nazis." His life, however, has remained an enigma.

Kevin Coogan's biography traces Yockey's clandestine career from his involvement in fascist groups like the Silver Shirts in the 1930s to his ties to Nazi spy networks both during and after World War II. Coogan also reveals Yockey's connection to German exile groups in Argentina and Egypt, his stormy relationship with both Oswald Mosley and Gerald L. K. Smith, his work for Senator Joseph McCarthy, and his activity on behalf of the postwar Fascist International in Europe, the Mideast, and the Americas.

The U.S. government began investigating Yockey after learning that he was advocating a covert alliance between the far right and the Soviet Union. Using now-declassified FBI and State Department files, Coogan shows exactly why Washington feared that Yockey was working for the Russians.

A few days before his death, Yockey met Willis Carto, the publisher of Spotlight, Imperium, and founder of both the Liberty Lobby and the Institute for Historical Review, the largest Holocaust-denial group in the world. Coogan (who interviewed Carto for this book) examines the Liberty Lobby leader's crucial role in promoting Yockey's ideas despite attacks on "Yockeyism" from American Nazi leader George Lincoln Rockwell. Finally, Dreamer of the Day is the definitive portrait of one man's life inside a John Le Carré-like story of real-world espionage, conspiracy, and ruthless political intrigue."

This guy is known as one of the spiritual God Fathers of the Underground Reich (ala Gladio, "Odessa", P2 lodge, the Rat Line, "Neo-Conservativism" etc.).

This book is also impotant because it sheds a lot of light on the "third party" activities between Nazis, CIA, KGB and organized criminal orginizations during the cold war.

Well worth the 15 bucks!
