"But even they, i mean, if you experienced the level of pressure here, some people "collaborate", they have to survive, right ? "

Yes of course. My original statement on this subject was that ordinary Jews are pawns in a very large game of oil chess. They were understandably willing pawns because of the horrific circumstances they found themselves facing in Europe. As for the Zionist campaign leaders, that's a different story.

And what are the works of their society to prove I to be insignificant? I and I deal with righteousness, irrespective of what men call righteousness. 'Cause most people think say, is when you go in a church on Sunday, with your clean clothes and your jacket and tie, you're holy, seen? But I don't wann' to take my Father's business for no joke business, and when I speak, I speak of those who intend to look like I and defamate the characters of I, because I see the determinations of the society is to praise the dead and incriminate the livin', seen? I don't smoke ganja, and the only thing one can be discriminated or incriminated for is the possession of ganja, seen? Them take out the "g" to make you don't realize is "gang" in ganja. All that is in the darkness has come to light, seen? And don't blame the Rastaman for exposing the darkness into light, because by your works we shall know you. So I don't waan' to talk - too much talkin' business and promises. Fools dance to comfortable promises. The truth creates offense in a one heart. Make guys talk all kind 'tings - 'tink wha' dem waan 'tink. But when Jah speak, earth crumble. So, marvel not and talk 'bout what kind of man that, seen? Who made the laws? God. Laugh, think it is a joke business? True, dem don't know what is God or who is God. There are so much gods that exist. The 12 gods of Babylon - Sagittarius, Aquarius, Pisces and Leo. Check it out, 'cause all a bwoy hear them say, "Wha' you is? Wha' sign you is?" Leo? How can you be leo? Leo is a Pope. Rastafari is thunderable. I don't waan' to take Him for no joke business. Don't care fe try and hide 'im name. Cyaan hide. Don't care to try to make 'im name insignificant and illegal in the society. The works of man exist. Don't care to try to incriminate or discriminate. Jah live.

Rasta got nothing within the society, but we multiply the little nothing with a little nothing, and we got something, seen? Grudgeful men who went to school and got their education did not know how to multiply naught with naught to get one. More charges?

Postby Peachtree Pam » Fri Oct 28, 2005 4:53 pm

From Raw Story:

webmail.pt.lu/index.php?u...l.pt.lu%2F

Fitzgerald expands probe, believes he can get Rove on more serious charges, lawyers say
Jason Leopold

In one of the boldest moves yet in the 22-month investigation into the outing of a covert CIA agent to a handful of top reporters covering the White House, Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald is extending his probe and pursuing much more serious charges against senior White House officials, specifically President Bush’s Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, lawyers directly involved in the case told RAW STORY Friday.

While many people were left confused by news reports that said Rove wouldn't be indicted Friday, the lawyers said that Rove remains under intense scrutiny and added that Fitzgerald is betting on the fact that he can secure an indictment against Rove on charges of perjury, obstruction of justice, the misuse of classified information, and possibly other charges, as early as next week.

“This investigation is not yet over,” one of the lawyers in the case said. “You must keep in mind that people like Mr. Rove are still under investigation. Rather than securing an indictment on perjury charges against Mr. Rove Mr. Fitzgerald strongly believes he can convince the grand jury that he broke other laws.”

The lawyers said that in the past month Fitzgerald has obtained explosive information in the case that has enabled him to pursue broader charges such as conspiracy, and civil rights violations against targets like Rove. Specifically, the lawyers said Fitzgerald is focusing on phony intelligence documents that led to the outing of Valerie Plame Wilson’s identity: the documents that claimed Iraq was attempting to purchase yellow-cake uranium from Niger.

A court filing posted on Fitzgerald’s website last week was the first such confirmation that the prosecutor has in fact decided to pursue the broader claims that intelligence the Bush administration used to build support for the Iraq war was flawed and, as a result, the reason many officials inside and outside of the White House went out of their way to out Plame, whose husband was a vocal critic of the Iraq war who was sent on a mission to Niger to investigate allegations that Iraq had attempted to buy Niger from the African country.

"On August 12 and August 20, 2004, grand jury subpoenas were issued to reporter Judith Miller and her employer, the New York Times, seeking documents and testimony related to “conversations between Miller and a specified government official occurring between on or about July 6, 2003 and on or about July 13, 2003, concerning Valerie Plame Wilson (whether referred to by name or by description) or concerning Iraqi efforts to obtain uranium.” the filing made by Fitzgerald last year states.

NATO sources told United Press International Monday that Fitzgerald's team of investigators has sought and obtained documentation on the forgeries from the Italian government.

This claim, which made its way into President Bush's State of the Union address in January, 2003, was based on falsified documents from Niger and was later withdrawn by the White House."

Fitzgerald will draw on another grand jury that is already empaneled. Federal law says that a grand jury’s term cannot be extended more than once, which is the case with the grand jury that has been hearing testimony in the case.

MORE INFORMATION FORTHCOMING THIS EVENING

I think I'll be disappointed with anything less than Fitzgerald dragging in Gelli and Berlusconi and Ledeen and Dewey Clarridge and George W. Bush and his old man and just kicking their whole house of cards to the curb.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 10/28/05 3:05 pm

Investigation not over

Postby sunny » Fri Oct 28, 2005 7:37 pm

I've been at work all day and out of the loop. From what I was told, I was getting the impression that the Libby indictments were the end of the road. I came home, the refrain "say it aint so, say it aint so" running through my mind over and over, and desperately searched the 'net for anything to disprove this notion. Whew, here it is, courtesy of Editor and Publisher-
Patrick Fitzgerald:"I can tell you," he said, "that no one wants this thing to be over quicker than I do. I would like to wake up in my bed in Chicago. But I will not end the investigation until feel we have done everything we can. Everyone should take a deep breath and allow us to do what we need to do."
YaaaaaaaaaaY!

Pam,
Here's something I was in the act of drafting for the WaPo thread

Quote:
Fitzgerald indicated he had considered the possibility of charging leakers with violating the Espionage Act, which makes it a crime for government officials to disseminate classified information--to unauthorized individuals. Using the Espionage Act in this manner, some media and legal experts have claimed, would lead to an Official Secrets Act, but Fitzgerald said he didn't accept that analysis. Still, he called this act "a difficult statue to interpret." And he chose not to indict anyone--yet--for violating it.

www.huffingtonpost.com/da..._9737.html

This looks like the key to Fitzgerald’s approach. The spectre of an Official Secrets Act.

What THAT means is that ANY leak of classified information becomes a crime. And that’s not good – for all sorts of constitutional reasons. It would also serve to unite the press against him.

That explains the need for MOTIVE. To distinguish between a low-level whistleblower acting for what they believe are patriotic reasons on one hand, and a high level assassin acting for selfish reasons on the other.

And that explains why he has singled out Libby, and why he was so damning of his actions. Re: What is Fitzgerald's strategy?

I watched NBC news this morning, and they are thinking that this Libby indictment is all that is going to come out of the investigation.

Basically, from what I can see, Fitzy said that he was unable to conclude his investigation because Libby impeded it with his lies. Job unfinished. Fitzy does not like "unfinished business", and is very patient. We shall see.

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 10/29/05 9:26 am

hmm...

I think we just have to wait and see. Libby's high-up in the PNAC cabal. He's well connected. Fitz said, "we are not done yet."

I believe Rove flipped, but he's trying to play it by HIS rules, not Fitz's. I think Rove's toast, or Rove's turning on Cheney.

Read some of Fitz's history. His cases are long, methodical. He hit Cheney's firewall, and he's attacking that firewall to break on through...

Wait and see... Libby is no minor player.

The question may become whether Cheney will let Libby fall on the sword for him. Also, whether Cheney will even live to watch Libbey fall on the sword. Just imagine, Libby goes to trial, is convicted, sentenced to 10 or 15 years, and shortly after he enters prison, Cheney dies. All for nothing.

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 10/29/05 1:15 pm

Plame to retire

Postby Peachtree Pam » Sat Oct 29, 2005 3:26 pm

From WaPo:

Valerie Plame, the Spy Who Got Shoved Out Into the Cold

By Richard Leiby
Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, October 29, 2005; C01

What's ahead for Valerie Plame?

Lost in the din of the leak scandal that has consumed Washington is the very personal impact on the willowy blond CIA operative at its center. Plame, 42, wife of former U.S. ambassador Joseph Wilson, has become the most famous spy in the world, but her career has been derailed. It appears likely she will leave the CIA, some acquaintances say, but she hasn't publicly signaled her plans.

Plame, the mother of 5-year-old twins, recently told a friend, Jane Honikman, that she intends to retire from the agency where she has worked for 20 years. "She really wants to be with her kids -- that's her plan, to be that mom," said Honikman, founder of a postpartum depression support network in which Plame has been active.

Although Plame has been under "tremendous stress" as the subject of global publicity and political spin, Honikman added, "she has a good sense of humor still and a wonderful, charming ability to look on the bright side." Several friends say she was devastated by the disclosure of her name in July 2003, but she went on with her life: She and Wilson circulated socially, took weekend walks along the C&O Canal and went to church. At events where media were present, Plame unfailingly smiled and exchanged pleasantries.

She has never granted an interview, effectively gagged by the CIA, whose guidelines require employees to clear media contacts and publications. But she hasn't been totally averse to publicity. She once posed for a Vanity Fair photograph in her husband's Jaguar, ala Grace Kelly, wearing sunglasses and a headscarf. For many critics of her media-savvy husband, that offered proof enough that she was out to capitalize on her notoriety -- further fodder in an affair that has become as highly politicized as any other White House scandal.

Wilson, whose credibility and qualifications have come under withering Republican fire ever since he went public about his CIA-sponsored trip to Niger and criticisms of the Iraq war, said yesterday in a statement: "While I may engage in public discourse, my wife and my family are private people. They did not choose to be brought into the public square, and they do not wish to be under the glare of cameras. . . . This case is not about me or my family, no matter how others might try to make it so."

Plame, the daughter of an Air Force colonel and an elementary school teacher, was recruited by the CIA at 22, shortly after graduation from Pennsylvania State University. She was in the 1985-86 class of CIA officers trained at "The Farm" near Williamsburg, where the curriculum included learning to drive under fire, blowing up cars and handling an AK-47.

Her career postings are classified, but she was one of the elite clandestine spies -- an officer with nonofficial cover who works overseas in business or other jobs and has no diplomatic protection if detected or arrested.

In 2006, she will have 20 years with the agency. As such she qualifies for retirement but would not receive full benefits unless she stays with the agency until age 50.

After she was named in a syndicated column by Robert Novak, Plame had no chance of working again in her chosen field, her friends say, and the strain of remaining at the agency has taken its toll.

"For all intents and purposes out at the CIA, she's like a leper . . . she's radioactive," said Larry Johnson, a former CIA analyst and acquaintance of Plame's who was in her officer training class. "There are instances where some people at headquarters have shunned her. In other cases they don't know what to say. It's like someone whose child has died: What do you say to them?

"There are a variety of things she could have done at the agency. She could have become a station chief overseas and run espionage operations. It has destroyed her life on that front. What is she supposed to do now, wear a button saying, " 'Hi, I work for the CIA'?"

Wilson and his lawyer, Christopher Wolf, would not comment on Plame's plans. But Wolf -- who has also been the couple's next-door neighbor for seven years -- said: "She was absolutely devastated by this on lots of levels. . . . Valerie was by definition the ultimate private person. She didn't seek any publicity or any acclaim or any thanks for her work."

After the outing, said Wolf, "her career was over, she knew it was over, and certainly her contacts were put in jeopardy . . . and her family was put at risk."

Last winter, Plame drafted an op-ed article to explain her role in her husband's Niger trip, but the agency would not permit her to submit it for publication. "While I would love to share Valerie's article with readers, so long as her agency refuses to allow her to defend herself, there is nothing she or I can do," Wilson wrote in the recently issued paperback edition of his bestseller "The Politics of Truth: Inside the Lies That Led to War and Betrayed My Wife's CIA Identity."

In the book he quoted a CIA response to Plame telling her "publication of your article has the potential to affect your ability to perform your official duties and the agency's ability to perform its mission." As long as she remains in the CIA -- and even beyond retirement -- national security restrictions would typically apply if she wrote, say, a memoir.

Wilson and Plame, who were married in 1998, live in the District's Palisades neighborhood in a spacious home with a back-deck view of the Washington Monument. Their son and daughter are in kindergarten. (Wilson has another grown set of twins from an earlier marriage.) Before Novak's column, neighbors and friends had no clue she was a spy -- they knew her as a "consultant" in the energy business.

"She's going to be a huge asset no matter what she does," said Plame's friend Honikman, founder of Postpartum Support International, a group the CIA officer contacted for help in overcoming her own severe bout with postpartum depression. "She's too smart a woman . . . and would maximize whatever opportunities lie ahead."

Plame served as executive director of a local postpartum support chapter but had to resign because "it was too much stress" after she was outed, Honikman said. "She had to stay focused on herself and her family." Honikman added, "I admire her for the incredible strength she has shown to endure this."

There is no indication that yesterday's indictment of vice presidential chief of staff I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby will end Plame's time in the public firestorm. By late afternoon, Republicans were on television trying to reopen debate on just what Plame did at the CIA and how covert the woman really was.

www.washingtonpost.com/wp...72_pf.html
