Looking Twice

Postby km artlu » Fri Mar 03, 2006 5:31 am

Once begun, looking for the motives, purposes, and aims of the PTB that are perhaps hidden behind what shows, can take on a life of its own. Two ideas presented themselves to me today:

How convenient that a U.S. diplomat was killed in Pakistan on the eve of Great Leader's arrival there. At the podium on Thursday, Bush could and did then modestly allude to his courage in going through with his planned visit. If I wanted to waste my time looking for it, I'm certain I could find this courage meme echoing from the Mockingbird talking heads. How very convenient, and at such minimal expense.

The commercial poultry industry can effectively guard against avian flu by keeping all operations indoors. This is how most of them operate anyway. (not a pretty sight and a grotesque way to make money) Not so the millions of rural and village peasants around the world.

When I have serious thoughts about a survival-mode situation, a rooster and a few breeding hens are high on the list. From such minimal beginnings can come a large flock. They easily serve as a medium of exchange. Given a habitual place to roost, they will forage out in fields and woodland to convert bugs and useless vegetation into valuable protein.

H5N1 won't have to mutate into human to human transmission in order to have a profound influence on the centralizing of control. It will work just fine as it is.

We have a very small flock out back... and yes, the war on small farmers, both in the US and worldwide, is well-known. Monsanto wants to own it all.

Congruent with the bird flu wierdness, is the move toward people like us being forced to microchip all our livestock (including the horses and bunnies) and pay to maintain the huge database that keeps track of all this. Every time an animal "leaves the premises" it's required to be reported.

The horse people are especially up in arms over this. One woman says, "If this passes, I'm going to ride my horse in and out of my front gate with my cellphone, reporting, 'On premises... off premises... on premises... off premises...'" --MaryK
