All nuke-waste administrators certainly *hope* to regulate the storage / dumps for that long! When my wife used to do that kind of work, one of her projects was coming up with a sign / code language that might communicate the dangers of nuke waste to future civilizations, and then figure ways to make the signs survive for 10s of thousands of years. <br><br>It was gov't / DOE contract stuff so of course nothing will be finished in our lifetimes ... but interesting to imagine how you might communicate such ideas to whatever kind of intelligent life might be around in the distant future. <p></p><i></i>
