Is this about the Nazi base...

Postby banned » Tue Oct 18, 2005 1:25 am

...in Antartica? I had a friend who was really into that and sent me a lot of info on it, but unfortunately I didn't save it.

Supposedly the Nazis built an underground base (they called Antartica "Neuschwabenland) in the 1930s, and some of them were said to have escaped down there after the war. As I recall there was some mysterious Allied military mission that went there right after WWII. Admiral Byrd was involved. And there was a UFO connection too, reptilian aliens . Try googling "Operation Highjump."

Lots of crunchable goodness there!

I was really into the "Hollow Earth" hypothesis for awhile, I figured since the Tibetans thought people issued from underneath Mt. Kailas, and Hopis thought people came up from underground into the first kivas, maybe there was some truth in it. I even bought the book--forget the author.

I also liked "Invisible Residents" by Ivan Sanderson, who thought the aliens live on undersea bases, and of course (dating myself) the "Chariots of the Gods" books.

Cheney's health sucks, his ticker's tetchy, plus a lot of people just don't warm to him, I don't know why, he comes across as someone who has grilled puppy mcmuffins for breakfast.

If something should happen, heaven forfend, to DuhBya, and Cheney was on stage in the hot seat, it might, heaven hear my...I mean forfend, be too much for that tetchy ticker.

But if he resigned to defuse the Plamegate stink, and Condomsleeza was appointed Veep, then Monkeyboy, who is at this point a suppurating sore on the bucket of the GOP, is expendable.

Fake terra attack...oh darn, they got the Preznit...or too much Jim Beam and he gets hauled off to rehab for talking to the paintings in the White House (I'm getting deja vu here)...all hail Preznit Rice...with Big Dick behind the scenes and they still get to appoint another Veep.

Boooshy's poll numbers bite the bag, to wit:

www.surveyusa.com/50State...proval.htm

The only states he's over 50% are: Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Alaska, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Utah--lotta Mormon inbreeding.
Idaho--known for potatoes. My birth state, Ohiya, not much better at 37%.
