It's eerily similar to one Jeff, I believe (?) posted here before.

Anyway, I found it quite intriguing. What do you guys think? That was accomplished by turning on ionizers on Moscows roof tops, causing rain. The russians are selling this technology worldwide. A russian government-owned firm offers their weather modification services including thunderstorms and even cyclons. An article in The Wall Street Journal, Thursday, November 13, 1997, page A19 writes:

Malaysia to Battle Smog With Cyclones, by Chen May Yee, Staff Reporter of the Wall Street Journal

"KULA LUMPUR -- Malaysia's war on smog is about to get a new twist. The government wants to create man-made cyclones to scrub away the haze that has plagued Malaysia since July. 'We will use special technology to create an artificial cyclone to clean the air', said Datuk Law Hieng Ding, minister for science, technology and the environment. The plan calls for the use of new Russian technology to create cyclones -- the giant storms also known as typhoons and hurricanes -- to cause torrential rains, washing the smoke out of the air. The Malaysian cabinet and the finance minister have approved the plan, Datuk Law said. A Malaysian company, BioCure Sdn. Bhd., will sign a memorandum of understanding soon with a government-owned Russian party to produce the cyclone. "Datuk Law declined to disclose the size of the cyclone to be generated, or the mechanism. 'The details I don't have', he said. He did say, though, that the cyclone generated would be 'quite strong'. Datuk Law also declined to disclose the price of creating the cyclone."

Man, I don't know if this is an anomoly of some sort, or an artifact (like radar pictures, that often get a streak or two at sunset, which I first noticed in Ontario radar images recorded at that time each day while working at a tv station)....

but if I hadn't read this post, and followed the link BEFORE this mornings hurricane of the millenia upgrade...well, I wouldn't have paid it much attention.

Jeff...follows?

GH

What I see on that first cickon, are three spots with a very deep red signature. It appears to be a triangulation, and looks like the storm is being driven. When the westerly sopt fades away, the storm turns westward.

It's only in very recent years that storm tracks have been predicted so many days ahead, in CURVES. Like this one. Florida is not in the path of this storm unless it turns northeast. I have been interested in weather phenomena my whole life, and have watched as hurricanes made crazy moves, almost every one of them (especially the really destructive ones.) Each time one hit ashore, my dad would go there to do his Red Cross thing.

This storm appears to be diminishing, not growing... Category 5, my big butt! --MaryK

I'm still not saying anything one way or the other...but THIS is one crazy change. And I wonder what these winds are going to blow of the news agenda? Hmmmm.

Cheney ain't goin' nowwhere.

headlines.accuweather.com...&article=4

" In a matter of hours, Wilma strengthened from a Category 1 storm into a very dangerous Category 5 hurricane. That was a bit quick, but more often than not, once a hurricane reaches a certain threshold, intensification progresses pretty fast. Katrina and Rita both showed this spike in strength. Another prime example was Camille. The worst case scenario is when the intensity of the storm peaks at the time of landfall. Camille did just that, but Katrina was actually well past peak fury when it reached the central Gulf Coast. The intensification of a hurricane is dependent upon the sea surface temperature, the amount of outflow in the upper atmosphere and the rate heat is being released into the storm by condensation. When all these factors coincide, development is usually explosive.
The graphic below shows how Wilma has surpassed the other most intense hurricanes of all time. Two of the top five have occurred this season, which is most extraordinary. In addition, there have been three Category 5 hurricanes this season, which has never happened since records have been kept."
Story by AccuWeather.com expert senior meteorologist John Kocet.

When I found this link on Coast to Coast, there was a guy on there talking about this. Now, this picture is CHANGING! The weather expert on the radio that night said that he thought the red images were huge rains that were being sent in to weaken the bands of the storm. Maybe that is NOT what is happening. He thought someone was doing this on purpose and you could see the straight line of red stretching across to where the broken red is.

I don't know how to do a screen shot to freeze it. I was hoping someone would see this and do that.

When I first posted the link, there were 5 red things pulsing and jumping just like in the picture Jeff posted, and I think his had 5, too.

I don't know enough about this to say much of what it is.

Satellite images??

Postby otherGeoff » Wed Oct 19, 2005 1:52 pm

Does someone with a more powerfull computer want to take a look at Google satellite maps or whatever, to see if they can see anything that matches the 'beam' pattern from Honduras or Nicaragua or wherever that streak was over in the original posting?

Probably nothing, but maybe worth nosing around.

I will see if I can find something else.

I was poking around at NOAA and this is an interesting looking pic. Note how the hurricane loses it's shape and then suddenly there is a very well defined eye in this loop. I have never seen the eye disappear and then be well defined. Every other pic of a hurricane I have seen that has and eye, keeps the eye in every single photo. Maybe there is a logical explanation for this:

cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tropi...cjava.html

This
is the best I could do. It's impossible to tell, with any precision, where the 'signal' originates. I searched for +14 -85 coordinates because that's direction from which it seemed to eminate. Google doesn't let you get close enough to determine much of anything lest you see some spook actiity IMHO.
