pic from ISS shows odd cloud formation, plus...

This near perfectly circular cloud seems somewhat odd to me. It's from crew6 at the ISS. There is some talk on the net about "hole-punch clouds" but this doesn't seem like one of those to me. Doesn't seem to be any cyclonic activity in the area...
