Here's where I can offer some specific info, from my pharmacy technician perspective, that supports some of what Horowitz is saying in the above link:

Around the middle of August, I noticed a lot of people coming into the pharmacy with coughs but no fever. I thought to myself, it's awfully early for respiratory infections. I began to wonder if this year will be the same as last year: starting in October 2004 and peaking in February 2005, we had a slew of people coming in with Z-pak and hydrocodone cough syrup prescriptions. (My pharmacy manager said it was 'the worst he'd seen in 25 years.') I always chat with my customers while I'm preparing their meds because it helps them to tolerate the wait time. So, I started asking people how they caught their cough/cold/flu.

This is what people told me, in general:

Symptoms: malaise, low-grade fever, severe coughing spasms, mental confusion, restlessness, irritability, and in some cases, deep fatigue. The coughs lasted more than 4 weeks, as did the fatigue. Most had to take multiple round of antibiotics and most told me their doctors didn't know what it was. Some were sick for many months with the chronic cough and heavy mucus build-up. I personally had a bad bout of it from early February to late March -- 8 long weeks. The doctor said my lungs sounded clear, and there was no infection in my body that he could detect. He prescribed a codeine cough syrup that would help my raw throat heal. The whole time, I felt like I was trying to expel something 'stuck' in my throat. It didn't help. I was given Bactrim, which did nothing, then Erythromycin. Neither drug had any effect whatsoever on the cough, which ran its very slow course. It seem to end when I finally got rid of whatever was causing the irritation.

Whatever is causing this phenomenon, I can understand why it's difficult to accept - it is either a really big deal or we've got too many planes flying. If it's the latter, do we form some sort of enviornmental warrior society against contrails? I mean, I'd like some more blue sky, please.

Finally, I have some basic questions. If anyone can help answer them, I'd be grateful. 'Cause I'm just trying to wrap my brain around it.

1. Is it possible to find out how many more planes are in the sky in any given area than say, five years ago? Could an increase in the number of planes really account for the amount of 'sky pollution' that many of us are seeing? Does this level of activity occur in areas where the level of aircraft traffic is relatively low?

2. Has the jet fuel mix changed in any way over the past 10 years to include something that leaves larger, lingering trails? Does anyone have any info on ethylene dibromide as a fuel additive?

3. For those who think the con/chemtrails spreading is weather-related, how do we account for weather forecasts that predict clear blue skies and great weather if by 11 am it's hazy bright (after all the 'trails' blend and merge in one big, off-white mass)?

*MaryK: Are you using something besides mind power to break up the clouds? Please share. I have an open mind and will try just about anything as long as it doesn't hurt myself or innocent others. Perhaps what these folks are talking about is what you mean? http://educate-yourself.org/ct/

*Thanks Pugsleys, for posting the video link - I will watch it this afternnoon. I am in TOTAL agreement with you that, post-9/11, nobody will touch this shit.

*Mother - a note to say hi. I am glad you stuck around here. I liked your energy right away and was pleased that you didn't find the tech issues too daunting. (A nod to RDR for helping you get through it.)

HIGH WEIRDNESS ALERT: Another from my TinHat folder: http://www.chem-trails.org/ ct2005.htm

If you cannot 'see' that link, go here: http://tinyurl.com/7jmqn

(***Something very weird just happened. I tried to post the above link twice and got an emoticon inserted into the middle!!! I tiny URL'd it just in case there is some conflict between the URL's html code and EZ board's emoticon codes.)

Like Brendan, I, too, have felt something "crawling" on top of my head. And no, I wasn't stoned or under the influence of anything at the time. I haven't documented this sensation by taking digital photos, but I think I might just start. I think some of us are receivers and some are senders. Just MHO.

Cheers, all. Morgan

PS: (I'd ask people to PM me, for OT things, but I am not a registered user. I never bothered to register because, initially, folks were saying what a hassle it was and that their e-mail accounts got spammed afterward. So, although I've been here since day 1, I decided to opt-out of the registration process. Has EZ Board's policy gotten easier? I see more registered users than before. Still, I like to keep my Internet footprint as small as possible and only sign up to join when there's no other way.)

Horowitz: There has been for quite some time, but the authorities are suppressing the news about it. It's only been recently that the mainstream media has acknowledged that hospital emergency rooms are filled with patients with this bizarre upper respiratory infection that doesn't quite seem to be a virus, a flu that the flu vaccines were ineffective against, that was a surprise and a complete mystery to the Centers for Disease Control authorities.

That's all hogwash, bogus nonsense. The fact of the matter is, we have seen this type of an epidemic since the end of 1998 and the beginning of 1999. People have been hacking and coughing with this bizarre illness that does not seem to follow any logical viral or bacterial onset and transition period. It was something that did not cause a high fever.

If it was a bacterial or viral infection, it would have caused a fever in these people. It didn't. It was something that lasted weeks, if not months. They had sinus congestion, sinus drainage, they had a cough, they had fatigue, general malaise, they felt they were not quite right.

Redden: Then is it fair to call this the flu, or is it something else?

Horowitz: I think it's only fair to call it flu-like. It is pathognomonic of, not a bacterial or viral infection, it is pathognomonic of a fungus or a fungus related to a flu. And that's exactly what has been developed and patented by the Armed Forces Research Institute of Pathology.

We've reprinted the patent report in the new book, Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse. We show you the report on the "pathogenic mycoplasma." That's a quote, "pathogenic mycoplasma." And if you know anything about mycoplasmas, myco indicates fungal, but yet mycoplasma is not really a fungus, it's not really a bacteria, it's not really a virus. It's sort of like a pseudo all of them. It has no cell wall, it goes deep into the cell nuclei thereby making it very difficult to mount an immune response against.

Redden: And it's man-made...

Horowitz: It's man-made. It can be used as a biological weapon. It was developed as an AIDS vaccine-related organism. It was extracted from AIDS patients. It is responsible for virtually all of the symptoms which AIDS patients suffer from. The AIDS virus is at best a co-factor, and not even such a strong co-factor as to bring on all of the symptoms of AIDS.

This particular organism, the micoplasma, is associated with this upper respiratory flu-like illness. And it's also associated in its pathogenic process with a whole variety of other symptoms that mimic AIDS.

Redden: And that's what you think is causing this epidemic?

Horowitz: That's only one of the factors. The patent report lays it out. Like how you can use a factor like that to cause chronic upper respiratory infections just like what is going on. I mean, virtually identical to what's going on. It's patented by the Armed Forces Research Institute of Pathology.
