Breaking down the smoke and mirrors.
Once people truly understand the nature of what they are doing to one another and why, then we might get somewhere.

Until then, we will have debates about Anti semitism, and Islamofascism, and Christian Zionism and all the rest of them.

Its all a truly magnificent facade.

Break down the facade.

Comments from TUCKER CARLSON on a recent show:

CARLSON: It goes deeper than that though. The deep truth is that the elites in the Republican Party have pure contempt for the evangelicals who put their party in power. Everybody in...

MATTHEWS: How do you know that? How do you know that?

CARLSON: Because I know them. Because I grew up with them. Because I live with them. They live on my street. Because I live in Washington, and I know that everybody in our world has contempt for the evangelicals. And the evangelicals know that, and they're beginning to learn that their own leaders sort of look askance at them and don't share their values.

MATTHEWS: So this gay marriage issue and other issues related to the gay lifestyle are simply tools to get elected?

CARLSON: That's exactly right. It's pandering to the base in the most cynical way, and the base is beginning to figure it out.

Religion to achieve objectives.

Bush actually said that... Captain Obvious strikes again. Rather like saying "uses utensils to achieve nourishment." I can't believe we have two more years of every utterance of this moron being reported as news. Enough venting...

Edited by: yathrib at: 10/13/06 7:43 pm

on the Religious thang.....

Postby slimmouse » Fri Oct 13, 2006 8:28 pm

Came across this site recently.

Was meaning to post regarding the religion, and yes , I DARE to say it, the biblical Jesus myth.

The teachings of Jesus and similar prophets are, as I have always argued to be taken in a purely metaphorical context in relation to the "official" history.

That is to say, the teachings IMO stand for the truth within the context of , what is clearly historical fallacy ;

www.thelastoutpost.com/site/1186/default.aspx

Jesus, or at least his teachings, represent to the best of my interpretation, those of one of the original gnostics.

This video incidentally, should be watched for its content as opposed to any affinity whatsoever to the smart guys in the suits presenting it.

How you deal with/ interpret this information is between yourselves and "God".

Break down the facade.

Edited by: slimmouse at: 10/13/06 6:36 pm
