Uri Geller: "Saddam Hussein found by RV"

Ok, long day. Nothing goes as planned. Get back to my room and make a quick surf of the web looking for a quick pick-me-up. I found this gem and thought I'd share.

Quote:

Clairvoyant 'led Americans to Saddam'
From correspondents in Herzliya, Irsael

November 06, 2006 10:32pm
Article from: Reuters

DID a clairvoyant help US commandos ferret Saddam Hussein out of his hiding place in Iraq three years ago?

Israeli-born celebrity psychic Uri Geller, best known for his spoon-bending antics, says the power of the paranormal led US troops to the fugitive Iraqi ex-dictator.

“You remember when they found Saddam Hussein in Iraq? I think this Uri Geller story is just a way to amplify the 'Captured Devil to Die' story being timed out for election day.

Kind of like oxygen to help the Saddam story fuel burn longer.

Maybe the hanging news isn't doing for them what they thought it would do. It has had the effect of focusing more attention on Iraq and this is the last thing you'd think the politicians would want right now.

The fact that he is practically swinging from the gallows is marred by the fact that we invaded Iraq illegally, which makes it a hollow victory indeed. Not that I am condoning what he did to his own people (gotta qualify that one before someone thinks I'm a dictator lover or something) but we're the ones who are responsible for his predicament right now and none of this was done the right way.

So it's time to bring out the big guns of not just any ole psychic, but the world famous Uri Geller and remote viewing. It's just a comma. :0

Blair and the UN have come out against hanging Saddam Hussein. Ain't that a hoot? The UN I can sort of see it, but Blair? I wonder why... (probably just politics, showing everyone he isn't a poodle after all?)

puzleyca3, I find it hysterical that Blair doesn't approve of Saddam's execution, when he's spent the last 3 years or so passionately defending an illegal invasion that's caused the deaths of at least 650,000 ordinary Iraqis. I say "hysterical" because it's not funny, but one of those things where, if you don't laugh, you go crazy, because of what you're forced to confront about the world you live in.

Anyway, if I didn't completely oppose capital punishment, certainly Saddam Hussein would be a prime candidate. But the hypocrisy of mass murderers condemning their former client to death, in a kangaroo court devoid of legitimacy or transparency, is too surreal.

Uri Geller is just another clown in this macabre three-ring circus, as is the amazing talking poodle.

"Uri Geller is just another clown in this macabre three-ring circus, as is the amazing talking poodle."

Thanks, I just spit out my cornflakes I was eating.

I know what you mean about laughing because you might go crazy.

I hardly remember my dreams. But the night I found the actual quotes where Condi Rice had lied about 9/11 in the commission report and compared them to the news articles, (I was very new to this at the time) I argued with her all night long in my sleep. My husband woke me up twice because I was yelling at her and everytime I went back to sleep the dream would pick right back up with us sitting across from each other at a desk. (she never got a word in edgewise all night long. )

There have been times when I'd find a particularly troubling stealth law or some other atrocity and I've cried many, many times since I started this search for truth. And the pain that comes with those tears is worse than anything I have ever known. The bottom has fallen out of everything I ever thought I knew about the United States of America.

Yeah. Frankly, although I've never actually said this before, one reason I didn't have a third child, is the abyss that opened up in my mind, whenever I tried to envision the world I'd be bringing him/her into. I had my first two before the bottom fell out of my world, too.

From what I've read of your writing, AlicetheCurious, what this world REALLY needs is more people like the kind who have a mother like you.

Would you consider doing it to help save the world? lol.

Didn't the Kurds come out and say they had him for three weeks before the staged "spider hole" incedent. Did'nt the Army finally come clean on that?

That kind of hole is standard black ops torture-punishment. As soon as I saw where he was "discovered" I knew they had had him for quite awhile. All that aside, the President of Iraq is not going to hide by digging himself a hole in the ground, that's just common sense.

This is more evidence that Geller is full of it and/or being used.

Hugh, I'm speechless (well, about as speechless as I can get) -- what an incredibly nice thing to say!

Seriously, I didn't know what fear was, until they were born. Being a mother is like skating on very thin ice, making sure everybody's having a great time, while your eyes unconsciously check every crack and every dark spot in the fragile barrier that separates you and them from plunging suddenly into a dark, icy hell.

Motherhood is a form of insanity, a dissociative disorder; the dangers are infinite and horrific and most of them get assigned to the wild-eyed crazy woman who lives in my attic, while I calmly and cheerfully go about my life. The crazy woman sees what's going on outside from the attic window, however, and she's already gibbering in fear at all the things I throw up there because I can't function if I face them too directly. Too many horrors, and the attic floor separating her from me will collapse, and she'll be living in my house.

All this is to say, it's a crappy world, who needs the aggravation?

As for Saddam, they announced his discovery on Dec. 13, 2003; perfectly timed to drown out any news coverage of President Bush signing into law additional provisions of the Patriot Act:

Quote:
On December 13, when U.S. forces captured Saddam Hussein, President George W. Bush not only celebrated with his national security team, but also pulled out his pen and signed into law a bill that grants the FBI sweeping new powers. A White House spokesperson explained the curious timing of the signing - on a Saturday - as "the President signs bills seven days a week." But the last time Bush signed a bill into law on a Saturday happened more than a year ago - on a spending bill that the President needed to sign, to prevent shutting down the federal government the following Monday.

By signing the bill on the day of Hussein's capture, Bush effectively consigned a dramatic expansion of the USA Patriot Act to a mere footnote. Consequently, while most Americans watched as Hussein was probed for head lice, few were aware that the FBI had just obtained the power to probe their financial records, even if the feds don't suspect their involvement in crime or terrorism.

www.sacurrent.com/site/ne...&rfi=6

The photos of his "capture", however, showed palm trees loaded down with ripe dates, which unequivocably proves that they were taken sometime in September. It would be like taking photos in New England in the autumn, with multi-coloured leaves, and then saying the photos were taken at Christmas time. "I-DON'T-THINK-SO!!!" said Arabs and Middle Easterners. "Wow! Daring capture!" said the corporate "journalists".
