Regarding Scott Forbes, last year I directly engaged someone who I seriously considered a forum boggey-man. He made posts at a digital audio forum, but only in an out-of-the-way section focused on controversial topics. Anyways, I had started a thread there which was a cut and paste of one of Stallion's(He's a member here, but I haven't seen him for awhile and that's not his complete screenname, which I've since forgotten) excellent link composites, and this character, "Sangha" immediately jumped on it, singling out Scott Forbes as the weakest link and asserting he never existed. Stallion's post was miles long, and there were other areas I considered much weaker, but he singled in on Scott right away. It got to th epoint where I identified Scott Forbes' company and called their(new) New York office, and spoke with his former supervisor, who was the immediate replacement for the previous supervisor killed on 9/11. I was very honest with her and told her the purpose of my phone call. She was VERY angry about Sangha's accusations, and confirmed Scott's time with the country up to the point he left returning to the UK(I believe) office, due to visa expiration(It's been awhile, and the thread's long gone). The bottom line was I man-handled this forum asshole, picked up the phone and called Scott's boss, and even listed her number asking ANYONE from this 60,000 registered member forum to call her and confirm our discussion when Sangha outright called me a liar regarding it. Nobody called her. No one. But a person who often debunked me on alot of discussions stood beside me and confirmed Scott's UK employment, and listed the UK branch's working address after a little work of his own. I was able to at least verify Scott Forbes' existence and his work in the UK as a contract DBA without even tiring my pinky. So I wonder: do they (whoever "they" is) spend this kind of effort trying to debunk this because this is a touchy area? "Sangha" never posted there again after that thread, but it was a cold comfort when the thread itself was deleted not long after. That's chilling in more ways than one. Do feel like sharing the location of the digital audio forum (I've got at least a guess)?

The Freepers linked a story from the Richfield Reaper (a Utah paper), with an article on the traffic stop arrest of a Jordanian, Hisham Saleh Hammad, who had $300,000 in cash in his car. "As the search of the car continued, deputies found evidence of three different names.The sheriff's office sent the names and Hammad's fingerprints to Washington, D.C., for analysis. Maybe Scott's testimony is a cause of alarm due to his UK residency, which may have protected him from certain fates that would have befallen other country's citizens(our own included). That said, I don't believe I've seen hide nor hair from the guy in quite awhile, and what he had to say was imo critical in the 9/11 macroverse. 'Sangha' only reinforced this. Speculation only, but when it comes to the unconfirmable 'forum boogey-man', I think they have an outline of how far they can go to intimidate and try silencing an opponent before the conflict itself introduces more attention than is desired. I was a high profile member at that forum with the highest post count at the time, and whether readers liked me or not they usually read what I said due to my aggressively outspoken nature there. I'd rather not name the forum; if you have a good idea what it is, that'll have to suffice with the confidence that I engage what topics there I can when I see the best chance of saturation from other members on that particular issue. The group is highly intellegent with a large number of core members who are able to penetrate a certain degree of bullshit. If 'Sangha' is what I think he was due to his unique habits there(never once speaking about anything music/audio whatsoever), I'd imagine he was pulled from the forum after calling too much attention to my OP in a flame war that went through half a dozen pages within 24 hours with 99% of all posts Sangha's or mine. He never expected me to actually get up off my ass and dial a phone number, and when I did, all he could do was say the conversation I had with Scott's supervisor was a lie that never took place. People's general unwillingness to come to terms with 9/11 is a fault that he accurately counted on to aid him. I sent Stallion714(?) a link to the fight at the time, and he was pleased. I posted this in a powerdown thread at DU back in August -- and never got any kind of answer.

Does "no electrical supply" mean every one of the top 50 (or so) floors in the South Tower was dark? Does that mean the workers had only the available light coming through windows -- and flashlights, etc. (battery-operated generators?)? This would be odd, since many rooms in the WTC (and especially rooms with cables have no windows.) (I worked on the 59th floor of the North Tower for 3 years.) How did these workers work with no electricity?

No electricty = no elevators. If they worked in the tower for two days (?), did they walk down the stairs (perhaps as many as 100 floors) when they went home at night? And then did they walk UP all those floors to work the next day? Or did they sleep in the building to avoid that?

If the power down happened and if it lasted 36 hours, are there any pictures of downtown Manhattan showing the half-dark South Tower? Forbes said the shutdown was unprecedented -- seems like it would be newsworthy. I know the Empire State Building was sometimes completely dark (often after 2am or so), but I can't recall if the WTC was ever 100% dark.

I did a search for all Times stories with "world trade center" in them from July 1, 2001 to September 11, 2001 and found nothing.

I lived in NYC from 1987-2005 and cannot remember ever hearing about a dark WTC. I'd love to see a newspaper photo or article describing the powerdown -- or any of the alleged powerdowns over the last 30 years.

Great work getting on the phone like that, Arcadia! That's a little original work we could use more of rather than repeating the same old questionable stories without questioning. I seem to have missed exactly what you found out or were trying to prove tho... as for Redsock, good work too. The powerdown thing is compelling but there's only the one source, Forbes, right? If there's no other news one must wonder how everyone but Forbes was silenced so effectively.

angle is one of the most intriguing aspects to me of 9/11 right next
to the Melvin Lattimore/Moussaoui/Nick Berg/Hussein al Attas/Norman Oklahoma and PTECH angles.

All three of which hardly anyone talks about.

It was Abdusattar Sheikh's business pal and fellow FBI informant Sam Koutchesfahani who rented the Heaven's Gate mansion out in 1997 and was friends with the heaven's gate people. But much more sinister, is the fact his big thing was bringing in known Islamic youth terrorists with unlawful ID and passport scams. Abdusattar Sheikh is the guy who was hosting some of the 9/11 hijackers in his home.

If the towers were rigged, the sublevels, floor 22, and the rooms where the planes hit would be my guess where stuff was planted:

I'm not sure if this story relates directly, but you would think that in this 'post 9/11 world' that TN and Homeland Sec would have gotten their act together enough to make sure that TN wasn't still handing out bogus drivers licenses.

Tennessee Drivers License Examiner Indicted for Bribery

Sep 28, 2007

A Nashville woman employed as a driver license examiner for the Tennessee Department of Safety (TDOS), Latoya Cooper, 35 and a Murfreesboro man, Terry Biles, 37, have been indicted on charges of bribery and conspiracy to commit bribery.

A three-count indictment was returned against them by a federal grand jury in Nashville. The first count charges both of them with conspiracy to commit bribery concerning programs receiving federal funds. The second count charges Biles with offering and giving bribes concerning programs receiving federal funds. The third count charges Cooper with accepting and agreeing to accept bribes concerning programs receiving federal funds.

This is the second indictment against them and as such the first one supercedes it. In the first indictment it says that between July 2003 and September 2007 they conspired together and with others to issue driver licenses to people not authorized to receive them. Cooper was a driver license examiner and as such, she had the authority to issue Tennessee drivers' licenses to people who could provide proper proof of identity, proof that they resided in Tennessee and proof that they were U.S. citizens or that they were a lawful permanent resident. And they were supposed to satisfy other requirements necessary to get a drivers license, namely passing written, road, and vision tests.

The indictment charges that Biles, Cooper and others conspired to commit bribery in association with the business of a state agency that received federal funding, in this case the TDOS. Biles paid bribes to Cooper in return for Cooper issuing Tennessee drivers' license to people that both of them knew were not eligible to have a license.

Biles found persons who wanted a license that they were not eligible for and whose information would be false. Biles would then direct these individuals, who are only referred to as persons A,B,C and D in the indictment, to Cooper at a TDOS station where she would issue the license.
