On behalf of the state of Tennessee, I'd like to apologize for Frist. The Frist's are the local "Rockefeller's" in that the Frist foundation funds just about all the nonprofit stuff around here.

But what can we do...in the race to replace him it is the democrat who is charging weakness on homeland security and immigration.

The Frists were a major force behind the "hospitals for profit" conversions of the eighties through their founding of 'Hospital Corporation of America." So I'm afraid we need to apologize for that as well.

And while I'm confessing, I guess we should also apologize for "corrections corporation of America" which privatizes prisons.
