An old girlfriend and her flatmate were media students.<br><br>When he was doing an assignment on the film Falling Down, I sat in on some of what he did.<br><br>He went through the film frame by frame scene by scene and examined every little detail then added 3 or theories on each details significance. It took days and days.<br><br>It was very interesting tho. I'd be into doing that with Eyes Wide Shut one day in the future, if I ever got the time. <br><br>There is something extremely unsavory about the whole thing.<br><br>If you dredge around long enough and low enough with combinations of European Royal family surnames you'll find a link to Erich Von Gotha. In terms of Germanic tribal culture, gift giving ensured a bond of loyalty, or a binding of the recipient to the giver. 'A gift demands a gift in return.' (Not unlike Vito Corleone saying, "One day, and that day may never come, I will ask you for a favor...")
