social psych only goes so far in explaining human social behavior. Unlike cultural anthropology, it isn't a holistic discipline. <br><br>In scientific terms, I often find psychological research to be of a different quality than, say, cell biology. The methodologies are nowhere near as precise. And often, "controlling conditions" makes for an unreal setting in which to observe subjects or do experiments.
