180 arrested in int'l pedophile-internet ring

breaking news here, 4 Israelis arrested at the request of Spanish police, in connection with an int'l crackdown on a pedophile-internet ring. (spain, US, Latin american and Israelis arrested so far). The 4 here were arrested and already released in bail, after the porn material was seized in their homes. <br> <p></p><i></i>

In cases like these, I definitely support the method of offering prosecutorial deals to people in return for substantive information about those farther up the chain. What I really want to see is the perpetrators and filmmakers taken down, not merely the buyers or downloaders of Internet pedophile porn.<br><br>That, I haven't seen yet.<br><br>I also have questions about the possibility of being framed for possession of illegal porn on one's personal computer. I know that it's technically possible to plant data on someone's PC without their knowledge, and I'm not sure how one goes about proving intentional possession simply because material is found on someone's computer. won't happen Robert. they have police immunity.<br>wish I could list the cases of persons giving credible evidence to police against the 'film makers' , who have got rubbished, treated as fantasists etc. many, many many good people.<br>instead PTB flag up the insoluble prob. of dealing with say 6000 names and credit card numbers, as in operation ore. then everything goes quietish, apart from the supposedly well meant article on the lines of 'should mere possession be a crime'.<br>pornography and its big bro ra and half bro mc rule ok? <br>only 2 ways to stop it - get all users to agree to put their money into something else more life enhancing, or b.
