Trivia: In 2003, his son Benjamin Goldsmith married Kate Rothschild of the Rothschild family. Kate is the daughter of Amschel Rothschild, who was suicided in Paris in 1996, and of Anita Guiness, heiress to the beer fortune. Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones was a guest at the wedding. Sympathy for the Devil?

Benjamin's brother Zac Goldsmith is rumored to be involved with "anarchist groups". But these rumors seem to be propagated by the Larouchies... EIR, and the Truth Seeker - both very dubious sources - are very, um, concerned about the Goldsmiths and their sponsorship of anti-globalization causes:

"We don't hold The Ecologist magazine in particularly high regard but in the light of new information our opinion has sunk even lower. Writing in a recent issue of Executive Intelligence Review Jeffery Steinberg wrote that: “…along with the Duke of Edinburgh, British Royal Consort Prince Philip, Goldsmith (Edward Goldsmith, founder and editor in chief at The Ecologist) is one of the leading propagandists for deindustrialization and the radical reduction of world population.

“ . . . Prince Philip's World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Goldsmith's The Ecologist magazine work hand-in-glove with some of the leading eco-terrorist groups, establishing a seamless link between the upper echelons of the British and continental European oligarchies, and the street hooligans who constitute the “squadristi” of the new terror. Goldsmith's son (actually his nephew, Zac, Ed), a senior editor of The Ecologist, personifies this seamless link. He is one of the leaders of Reclaim the Streets, the British anarchist “Black Bloc” group that staged one of the very first street riots, ostensibly protesting globalization, in the City of London on June 18, 1999 . . . Reclaim the Streets is one of the hard-core street-terror groups, with operational ties to Ibero-American narco-terrorist cartels, including the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) and the Mexican Zapatista National Liberation Army (EZLN).”

Quote:
The modern-day heirs of the Venetian Anglo-Dutch East India Company are sponsoring a new, worldwide Jacobin Terror, modelled on the original Eighteenth-Century oligarchical destabilization of France's efforts to replicate the American Revolution. Now, as then, the target of this top-down manipulated, rage-driven movement, is the republican nation-state system, despite claims to the contrary by some of the current movement's spokesmen and dupes, who proclaim, and, in some cases, genuinely believe, that their enemy is ‘globalization.’”

When we asked The Ecologist for comment on the above we heard Stephanie Roth, a senior editor there, literally splutter with indignation.

Twenty years ago you would have got the very same response had you told anti-apartheid activists that they were helping corporate capitalism. Yet that is exactly what happened. Their indignation at the excesses of apartheid was hijacked by the trans-nationals such as Anglo-American corporation and used to install a regime more compliant to their wishes.

But the similarity doesn’t end there; the very people who buy The Ecologist are likely to have supported the anti-apartheid campaign. You know the sort; well meaning and probably well heeled too but with little or no experience of life’s harsher realities, in a word naïve.

Which is exactly the quality that allowed the Illuminati to fuel and exploit their indignation over apartheid.

Likewise had you told Russian peasants that 'their' revolution was being funded by capitalists you would have got the same response. Yet shortly prior to the revolution Lenin returned from exile in Berlin, on a train packed with gold bullion and guarded by men armed with the then latest weapons, tommy guns. All provided and paid for by the Western banking dynasty’s.

In fact it’s a tried and tested Illuminati technique. Based on the ideas of George Hegel the so-called Hegelian dialectic simply states that thesis versus antithesis equals synthesis. In other words every force produces an opposite counterforce. The conflict between the two produces a new situation, the synthesis; and the Illuminati make it their business to be that synthesis, or at least profit from it. Thus for nearly seventy years after the Russian revolution the Illuminati made good on their investment, as regional conflicts and the cold war generated billions in arms sales and cost millions of lives.

I'm getting incredibly tired of reading about the "Illuminati" and their supposed "Hegelian dialectics", but that aside. According to the "Truth Seeker", anti-apartheid protesters were justs pawns of the Illuminati... with "little or no experience of life’s harsher realities". That tells me all I need to know about the "Truth Seeker", really.

It seems to be the Larouchies who are pushing the idea that Goldsmith-sponsored groups advocate "deindustrialization and the radical reduction of world population". I haven't seen much to suggest exactly that that in what they have written, but then I haven't looked too closely either.

HOWEVER, there is more to Sir James Goldsmith than meets the eye. This is from the rather good site "Project for the Exposure of Secret Institutions" (a rarity in its genre):

Quote:
Goldsmith was nicknamed the 'Green Billionaire' and became deeply involved with British intelligence. Financed the founding of the radical Friends of the Earth movement in 1970. There is also no mention in the documentary about Sir James' more unsavoury sides. Adam Curtis is the leftist filmmaker who made the acclaimed "Power of Nightmares" documentary about Bin Laden and the neo-cons. He reveals in the film that al-Qa'ida doesn't really exist as a "terrorist organization", but there's no mention of Bin Laden's or al-Zawahiri's CIA ties nor of any connection to the drugs and weapons trades. Likewise, the "neo-cons" are presented as an isolated clique of crazy intellectuals. Is "limited hangout" the common thread of his films? I liked The Power of Nightmares, but it isn't nowhere near the full story...

Common decency dictates that I give the accused an opportunity to speak for himself. Here is a longish interview with Sir Goldsmith. You cannot tear away from people their culture, heritage and identity without provoking a terrible reaction. Prior to the arrival of African Americans, America's immigrant population seemed likely to develop into a nation. They had come to America of their own free will and they were inspired by the ideal of a free and classless society, the shining city on the hill. They had freely decided to discard much of their original heritage and to sever their ancestral roots. They commingled with ease. Of course, there were exceptions. Some communities tended to marry among themselves. But the typical southern white American shares German, Anglo-Saxon, Scottish and Irish ancestors. Between 1820 and 1860 nine out of ten European immigrants came from England, Ireland or Germany. Obviously, for all the reasons foreseen by Madison, the relationship between African and European Americans was very much more difficult.

The year 1965 was another turning point. It was then that the Immigration and Nationality Act Amendments were passed. They abolished the policy which, previously, had organized immigration in a manner that reflected the pattern of cultural origin already established in America. The law was symbolic because,

{p. 65} instead of continuing to favour European immigration, America had decided to become its own free world. During the 1950s there were nine times as many European immigrants as there were Asians. Following the passage of the new Immigration Act, the proportions were sharply reversed. By 1990 the absolute number of immigrants from Europe had halved, whereas immigration from other continents and cultures had soared. By opening itself to all those seeking freedom whatever their origins, America had decided to initiate a vast and welcoming new form of society. President Reagan, in his famous New Year's speech of 1982, described America in these terms: 'We're a nation composed of people who have come here from every corner of the world, people of all races and creeds ..'.

Great enthusiasm was expressed for such a grand vision. Not only was it immensely generous in spirit, but it seemed to promise a vigorous, innovative and industrious new generation which would bring tremendous vitality to America. And so it has turned out. These immigrants now often lead the pack in school results, in research, in science and in mathematics. But, inevitably, there have been other consequences. As Time magazine wrote: 'by 2020 ... the number of US residents who are Hispanic or non-white will have more than doubled to nearly 115 million'. Only a short time later, the population of European descent will be a minority; 'the average US resident, as defined by census statistics, will trace his or her descent to Africa, Asia, the Hispanic world, the Pacific islands, Arabia - almost anywhere but white Europe'.

Quote:
I once visited the small island of Anguilla in the West Indies, which at the time had a population of about 9,000 people. I lunched with the then Prime Minister. The island is very beautiful. It has long white beaches and hospitable people. I asked him about his plans for developing the island. This is more or less what he answered:

'This island is our island, and we are very happy living here. We have two alternatives. Either we can develop at a reasonable pace and in a way which supplies good jobs and well-being to our people, or we can choose the policy which has been applied in practically all our neighbouring islands. We can aim at rapid and maximum development. After a great deal of thought, we chose the former of these two policies. If we had decided to develop tourism as fast as possible and build great hotels and apartment complexes one next to the other, then we would need to move to a policy of massive immigration so as to be able to operate such an economy. We realized that the inevitable result would be that we would become a minority in our own country. And we would not be spared the growth in crime and drugs and other social tragedies ...

It should definitely make some BNP/National Front heads explode to ponder the fact that here is British oligarch Zionist Goldsmith, whose family is intermarried with the Rothschilds, espousing more or less the same ideas as them...

Kate Rothschild and Ben Goldsmith
Qutb means "axis," "pole," "the center," which contains the periphery or is present in it.
