I think that defining what "winning" is, depends much on one's values and belief system. of course, the dalai lama thinks that dying is not really so bad, cause in the long run of the eternal soul, what matters is to be without blame. But if we are not going to be too philosophical then winning is simply what it is, having the upper hand. And I don't see any possibly way of seeing the perps as losing, and the victims as winning At ALL. The crime of MC (I know less of SRA strictu sensu) is a "perfect crime", it has no jeopardy whatsoever, less than stealing a sandwitch from a supermarket. The revenue is huge (these people become VERY VERY rich), and the perps usually even receive a sanctioned "good name" from their respective gov. Namely, if we take as an examply Ewen Cameron, one of the few who were miraculously nailed for MC involvement, you can see that his titles are still in tact, his published papers, so people other than the very small paranoid community, do not even know what he did and so his family can live a very good life from the proceeds of his crimes. <br>The nazis who operated in Germany during WW2, were basically unpunished to date, except for very few whose punishment was related to the military defeat of germany, after really annoying half of the world and then losing the war. They did not live in fear, but their millions of victims had nightmares till they died and most of them didnt' REALLY live even after they were released from hell, if they survived it.<br>Most of the arch butchers were very "sexy" for all gov, starting with the USA and recently we found out even courted by ISrasel (he he). I think only the Red Army was going to lynch them all, but they didn't get the chance, and later the Soviet Union also took in many Nazis with know how. <br>--<br>Looking at Israel, as a good example, one clearly sees that the wreched survivors of Nazism who came here, have suffered at the hands of our gov, abuse and deprivation, neglect, exploitation and degredation until they passed away, usualy in some dirty cell called Psychiatric ward for elderly, which we saw once on TV, appearing not very different from their Blocks back there. <br><br>most of the survivors who are still alive (very old and not many) are indigents and the gov keeps cutting their benefits, cause nobody gives a hoot. Israeli banks (Bank Leumi most of all) stole the property of victims and dead people from holocaust and only NOW the Knesset formed a pathetic "claims committee" where relatives can start searching for lost property and deposits. these are billions of dollars worth of property that for 50 years have been hidden and the interest proceeds went to shareholders of the BANK. And now they have gotten attached to their little treasure they are fighting like lions not to give it to the rightful owners, which are going to be those who inheritted the survivors, in most cases. (I found out this year that my great grandfather had deposits in the Jewish Colonial trust, from 1906, and he was later assassinated by Nazis in his village. So they killed him and Israel stole his estate money...life ! <br>---<br>So who WON ? and who lost ? sorry to break the news but there is really no justice in those matters and usually if one was nailed hard enough the chances of recovering are slim. See the african americans...still not being able to recover from slavery damages...see the native americans of north america practically extinct. one does not emerge from the grave, and there is only ONE life to measure victory/defeat.<br>--<br>I am depressed, as is evident.<br> <p></p><i></i>
