Munch by P was used to put innocent women inside charged with murder after cot deaths of their children on strength of one doc's expertise (Meadows).

I am half surprised you got it thrown at you because its usually women diagnosed with this - modern witch hunt stuff really. I had it run past me - hence my cynical outburst about police diagnosis, but they had 2nd thoughts when they realised that if I suffered from it, a man who was saying the same things must also be mad. But I know of too too many really dreadful miscarriages of justice, where child is taken from caring mum and given to abusive father and his group of ra pals on strength of one opinion.

It is amazing what emergency room staff and psychiatrists in general can ignore, or circumvent by an explanation more totally incredible than the truth by far. police also. and they never follow through. for example, in the Belgian (diutroux) case, it was generally alleged that the correlation between testimony from 2 witnesses who did not know each other came about because their psychiatrists had known each other. They were accused by intimation of having planted matching memories in clients. This would be gross professional misconduct - but surprise - no investigation of these incredible claims.
