I'm not positive of the timing, but what I've seen written about this so far suggests that the fetus had been dead for about a day when the kids were given it to dress. I don't approve of giving little children corpses to handle.<br><br>For those of you who haven't followed fetal development, at 20 weeks a fetus is still looking pretty alien. Many parents would not tell siblings that early that a baby is due, just in case of a loss. As to them being able to find the bodies in the statues, it is fairly common to smuggle drugs inside such devotional statues, which is probably what the Policers thought when the dogs barked.
