Don't expect anything more from LA Times, NYT, WPost, or the smaller papers which follow their lead than denial of ritual abuse to hide the CIA's darkest experiments with abuse such as MK-Ultra, Monarch, Bluebird because CIA got into all the big media post-WWII in what was called Operation Mockingbird.<br><br>Even if the bad coverage isn't intentional, journalistic ignorance of darker possibilities and subsequent focus on obvious 'lone gunmen' solitary suspects can result from decades of suppressing reporting on CIA abuses much the way the Mafia flourished under Hoover's public denial..<br><br>When Gary Webb documented the CIA-cocaine-IranContra connection at the San Jose Mercury News he was professionally hounded out of the business by those flagship papers to cover the CIA's butt.<br><br>Take this as a warning of what to expect:<br>The LA Times just carried a 10/30/05 story of a ritual abuse victim recanting his testimony in the infamous Aquino/McMartin pre-school case.
