Charles Howley.<br><br>The resident called police to report what he saw at 5:59 a.m., Howley said. The incident took place in a quiet suburban neighborhood less than two miles from access to I-95, he said.<br><br>The girl was white, apparently 15 to 17, 5 feet 6 inches tall and thin-built, with collar-length straight, dark hair.<br><br>She was wearing a white midriff shirt, short black leather skirt and flip-flops, Howley said.<br><br>In cooperation with Pennsylvania State Police, an amber alert has been posted for her and a white, an older box-style van with “Hell Raider” or “Hell Raiser” spray-painted amateurishly in red on the driver’s side, where the driver forced the girl through a sliding door, he said.<br><br>The van driver was described as a white man in his early 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin at about 140 pounds, Howley said.<br><br>He has short red hair, with a full red beard and mustache, and was wearing blue jeans and a jeans jacket. rbrown@delawareonline.com.<hr></blockquote><!--EZCODE QUOTE END--><br><br>The <!--EZCODE LINK START--><a href="http://www.nbc10.com/news/9693541/detail.html" target="top">Local NBC affiliate</a><!--EZCODE LINK END--> has more information:<br><br><!--EZCODE QUOTE START--><blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Police officials in Ridley Township gave canceled an Amber Alert on Thursday in the possible abduction of a girl who was seen being forced into a van. <br><br>Authorities said they pulled the Amber Alert because they decided that no other leads were coming in from Ridley Township, and no one had come forward to report a missing child.<br><br>Authorities said if a family comes forward and reports a missing child, and it fits the criteria, the Amber Alert could go back into effect.<br><br>Police said Tony Gentile heard a young woman screaming outside his house on Fernwood Avenue around 5:45 a.m. on Thursday.<br><br>"I heard screaming and crying and saw a girl with blood all over her face," Gentile said.<br><br>The woman was arguing with a man, police said. The woman was in front of a white van with a sliding door on its side.<br><br>Police described the woman as white, age 15-16 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build, dark straight collar-length hair, with a bloodied face, wearing a white midriff shirt, short black leather skirt and flip-flops.<br><br>The witness said lettering on the van said, "Hell Raisers or Hell Raiders." The Amber Alert notice described the vehicle as "a white color late 70's or early 80's panel van, possibly Ford Econoline."<br><br>The driver of the van was described as a white non-Hispanic male, age in the early 40's, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 140 pounds, with a thin build, short straight red hair and full red beard and mustache, wearing a blue jean jacket and blue jeans.<br><br>"I turned and said, 'What are you doing?' He said, 'Get the f*** away or I’ll put (a bullet) into you,'" Gentile said.<br><br>Then, Gentile said a second man came out of the van, helped place girl in van and the van then drove away. Gentile then called 911.<br><br>"We feel it is a possible abduction," a police spokesman told reporters Thursday morning.
