breaking news here, imprisoned spy Jonathan Pollard filed today a petition to the high court of justice in Israel against the appointment of Rafi Eitan as minister in the new Ulmart government. Pollard claims that Eitan should be declared unfit, ethically, to serve in such position , in the same way that Aviem Sela, the other conspirator/handler was declared unfit to serve as a commander of air force base.
--
Heat is on.

hg -

I've been finding what you've been posting about Eitan interesting, and hope you don't let the lack of comment discourage you from posting more. I think it's mainly that the rest of us don't have the knowledge to add to what you're offering.

I was intrigued enough by your previous post to check my saved files for any mention of Eitan and Lakam, and I came up with something from Cryptome -- an excerpt from Gideon's Spies: The Secret History of the Mossad -- that speaks of Eitan as the person who put a trapdoor into the stolen PROMIS software, as well as in connection with the murder of Robert Maxwell:
cryptome.sabotage.org/promis-mossad.htm

It strikes me that Eitan has to be very close to the heart of what Danny Casolaro died in the attempt to track down, and so anything you have to say about him would be of significance.
