Galloway devours Sky News anchor

Postby Et in Arcadia ego » Thu Aug 10, 2006 4:10 am

This deserves it's own thread. If the MSM's silly enough to give this bruiser any airtime, they should at least try to find an interviewer that's not going to crumble outright beneath his heavier-than-lead arguments..

Good Luck, MSM. You're gonna need it.

Link

I know he's considered to be a controversial guy, but I dig the hell out of him..
____________________
Some are born to sweet delight, some are born to endless night.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about Galloway but it's always great entertainment to see someone give as good as they get on TV news... amazing they didn't cut him off sooner... I found it hillarious they went straight from his parting words to a sky logo, obviously the presenter was not in a fit state to respond by that point!

But then again, when it comes down to it, they got their headline; "galloway supports hizbollah" so SKY wins really. Galloway does argue well but often ends up self-discrediting.

Let's look at that 'story' closely.

TERROR suspect Waheed Zaman met controversial MP George Galloway many times, his sister said last night.

Safeena, 24, said of her 23-year-old brother: “He saw it as his duty to stand up for his community and that’s what led him to know George Galloway. He has a lot of respect for him and has met him many times.”

A spokesman for MP Galloway, above, said: “Waheed Zaman is not a name that George is familiar with. He is not known to him on a personal level.”

There is no suggestion Galloway is an associate of Zaman.

=======================

WTF?

So he went to a few town hall meetings of George's perhaps? Or he was a local community representative perhaps?

But with that many caveats and zero context, it's a non-story to begin with.

Total BS.
