3:33 AM

Hello, all, this is my first post here I believe. I've been reading over the blog the last week or so and find it of great interest. I don't recall how I stumbled upon it now, but I am so glad that I did.

I had a strange occurrence last night which I thought I would share. I had an episode of sleep paralysis and either a hypnopompic hallucination or an actual fortean event. I snapped awake, to realize that there was some "thing" next to my bed. It was short, or crouched down, and staring directly into my face. It was shrouded in darkness so I couldn't make out any details. I screamed aloud, but could not move. I then blacked out/went back to sleep. The next thing I know, I snapped awake again, feeling a presence, but seeing nothing, unable to move, I noticed the digital clock on my digital cable box read exactly 3:33 am. I had time to think how odd that was. I had just been reading yesterday about the esoteric occultic meanings and uses of the number 33, including in masonic practice, the 33rd parallel, etc. I then went back to sleep.

I'm not sure what to make of that.

I had many fortean or seemingly paranormal experiences throughout my childhood and into adolescence. Then, we moved to a new area and it all seemed to stop. I convinced myself it had all been dreams, hallucinations, overactive imagination. Recently I moved to another town, and things seem to have started up again. I've developed a skin irritation above both eyes between my eyelid and eyebrow, and some other health issues which also coincided with the move. I don't know what to make of any of it. The health issues could be coincidental of course.

Perhaps the town I lived in for the last ten years was some kind of fortean event dead zone, suppressing the paranormal? Or my delusions started up again coincidentally at the same time I moved...

Anyways...

Love the blog, just now discovering the boards, and thought I'd share. 3:33 AM... odd.

Numerical synchronicities (esp. those involving clocks) are pretty common among those who find themselves experiencing an episode of anomalous phenomena. My advice? Keep a journal and stay unattached, but interested.

One of my own sleep paralysis incidents, which I've written about here, left me with a red, six-fingered handprint on my chest. Talk about a paradigm smasher.

I'm saddened, but not surprised, to see many Ufologists dismiss sleep paralysis connections to UFO abductions. If UFO entities are incorporeal -- be they egregores, Tulpa's, non-physical daimons, intradimensional djinn, or the like -- then the hypogogic state seems like a perfect "gateway" to the human realm. Ditto shamanic states, psychedelic experiences, NDEs, OOBEs, etc. John Mack did some good work pulling it all together.

UFOlogists and such

Postby marykmusic » Sat Dec 03, 2005 12:47 pm

Be saddened that the UFOlogists "dismiss" some of the most obvious evidence, Prof; then dismiss them. So many people in that "movement" are Agents meant to move the movement away from any real discoveries.

That six-fingered handprint, for example... that's real! So is sleep paralysis.

Some abdusction experiences are other-than-alien; Preston Nichols, for example, discovering that he was leading a secret life as a tecchie/inventor. We work with some people with experiences like that. For example, a man who was a "wormhole operator" at night, while holding down a low-level job at Honeywell during the day...

Many encounters are exactly that. We've just been made aware of another type of Gray, not the same as the "small grays" but darker. And still sinister. That's what I "saw" when I read the first post above. --MaryK

Appraxia

Postby Trifecta » Mon Dec 05, 2005 6:06 am

Some say it is just a mind state between sleep and awake, others that it is the realms of other dimensions, whatever it is it brings forth the experience.

Sometime a trigger like 3.33 is a wake up call, collecting your body back into the now, from unconsiouss astral travel, sometimes you and the demons get caught up in the same time frame...perhaps?

I had an experience with a prehistoric type being, clamped on my chest (this is common with appraxia) I could not move other than my head, my screams of fear did nothing, even my partner remained asleep, yet the bed was rapidly moving as my body bounced up and down trying to free my hands and feet, this went on so long that I regained any fear over this thing, and well I started to bit it and biot and bit and in the end I ate it...being a strong vegetarian for many years it was not a pleasant feeling, it made an awful noise as it went down into my stomach.

Sometimes, they appear as fabled archtypes, goblins, trolls etc, especially to women, they tell them secrets, offer advice, but mostly create fear angrams around their beings.

Perhaps while asleep we are all fighting the invisible war, sometimes we get our job done and flit back to consensus reality, other times we get stuck, need help or are followed back by these miscreants...they have no power in our reality and that is what it to be remembered.

just my 2 cents.

I read this the other day, and it gave me a start. At one point, I lived at number 333 xxxx Street West, and for about four years after that, the number 333 seemed to pop up *everywhere.*

I saw it on clocks frequently; it seemed that if I glanced up from a moving vehicle I'd do so just as I passed #333; I can't even list the weird places it came up.

The pattern I noticed was that it would increase in frequency when I was doing the 'wrong' thing (in an overarching way, not as in walking up the street the wrong way).

It faded and stopped shortly after I moved to the west coast in the early 1990s.

But then, last night (the reason I'm posting this now), I woke up at 3:33 am. Huh.

I sort of took that to be auto-suggested, though. It didn't 'feel' like a sign. More like an oddly nostalgic reminder.

Anyway, I'm not contributing anything of significance. It just gave me a bit of a shock to see someone else have this same recurrence.

I'm also mostly a lurker, but I've been reading (dare I say) nearly religiously for about a year.

Cheers to all,
kermujin

3:33

Postby utpk » Fri Dec 09, 2005 2:31 am

I awoke this morning and looked at the clock and it was 5:55!

Weird thing with these numbers.... for years my brother, who is not at all into occult, or even very much on the interntet, used to tell me that he is always noticing the clock when it's 11:11. Eleven kept popping up for him so often, that he had a sort of cute way of saying "eleven": "uh-*leh*-bhin". He has a thick southern (US) accent, and I don't see him much, but when we do, somehow "11" comes up. He'll joke, and say "there's uh-*leh*-bhin". It shows up everywhere, when we're together.

Randomness. I don't think he's a part of the "illuminati" (there's that "11" again in the two l's), he's just a used-car salesman good ol' boy type. It'd freak him out if I told him about this stuff.
