The stick figure aliens.

Postby barracuda » Thu Mar 19, 2009 12:49 am

Any comments or interest in these new videos from Fresno, California, of all places, and Lima, Peru featuring the most bizarre aliens I have seen in some time? Duende-style emanations, but entirely different physical aspects to the creatures. I have to say if they are faked, they are creepy as hell, and the technique may be of use to the next Blair Witch auteurs to come around.

Here is a nicely skeptical analysis form Forgetomori, who sees no alien, just a bush in the Lima footage.

Very interesting. I've not finished the video - no speakers right now, but will and the Forgetomori page is blank for me.

But do you remember that cell phone ET that reached out to those kids playing ball a few years back? That one always seemed real and creepy. So when I came upon a picture of a monolith at Gobekli Tepe it gave me the chills.

(I'll try to link to the photo... the whole earliest temple thing is super cool for me cause i'm into reading about hunter-gatherers. I'm a latent/sorta anarco-primitivist.)

Some of the pillars, namely the T-shaped ones, have carved arms, which may indicate that they represent stylized humans (or anthropomorphic gods). Another example is decorated with human hands in what could be interpreted as a prayer gesture, with a simple stole or surplice engraved above; this may be intended to represent a temple priest.[3]

It's from Mexico I think.

Tucy, you might want to check out this older thread in which the phenomenon of footage similar to your alien film was discussed in detail, focusing mainly on "El Duende".

Here's another similar video, and you'll begin to notice a characteristic setup occurring: a group of boys or young men sitting around playing or conversing; the camera focuses (sort of) in a absent-minded manner on a corner-of-the-eye movement; the momentary revelation of the genome; the boys, one or all, emit a girlish scream; and the camera drops. It seems like a formula.

Here's another one.

I agree the Gobekli Tepe image is spooky.

Will do, thanks.

Yes, when I found the Mexico video to post here, I watched again and was disappointed with the cut that happenes right before the critter appears. I thought that maybe they just shortened it, but now I bet it was for other reasons.
