This interested me:

"Whether or not Lynch was “onto something” or “knew more than he admits,” the mythology within the series draws upon many different mythological structures, and provides an excellent symbolic context within which to discuss the nature of Things That Go “Bzzz” In the Night. Twin Peaks centers upon the interplay between our “Reality” and “Another Place,” a world in which good and evil entities interact with humans and one another within the White and Black Lodges, placeless places where dreams come true and people are utterly destroyed."

I'm a big T.P. fan, I think I posted before about how I made a soundtrack of all the audio in the series that gave me chills, and replayed them for that "rush?

Yep, Owl symbolism? Egyptian. The Horns symbolism? Egyptian, Celtic and Norse Myth. Could be the Celtic predates the Egyptian on that one.

The part that "rang a bell" on this link you provided was this:

The "world in which good and evil entities interact with humans and one another within the White and Black Lodges,"?

I like the late Joseph Campbell's take on that "world".

It goes something like: " the Parcival Myth, the Holy Fool (which btw has almost exactly the same childhood Prince Siddhartha, Buddah, had, allegedly. GWBMC) is a Myth about how one lives one's life. Think of his name Parcival, or Percival, or Pierce the valley. One's life is also like this: You should always remember you need to walk the middle road, not too much to the left, or too much to the right, nor too much into the black, nor the white. Everyone has the capacity for Good, and for Evil. And life's struggle is to maintain that balance."

Ok, he said it masterfully, I can not.

But, isn't that what Lynch portrayed? Didn't the murdered girl's Pop (or was that uncle, been what 14, 15 years since I watched it?) stray too far Black, and was turned into Evil Personified? Then back again?

I'm going back to that link to read more about those "G" things ( I forgot, too strange a word to program first sight) now.
