I was following some links this evening, and ended up at this page which shows the largest image of the Crowley Lam drawing that I've yet seen on the net.<br><br><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK START--><a href="http://www.clydelewis.com/dis/gibborim/gibborim.htm">www.clydelewis.com/dis/gi...bborim.htm</a><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK END--><br><br>What I'd always thought were Lam's delicate little hands with palms together (as seen in the much smaller images) turn out to be labia minora, and his clothing not a roughly spun fabric but labia majora covered with neat strokes of pubic hair! <br><br>In the single mention a google turns up discussing its vulva nature, Bill Heidrick said in a 1993 newsletter online, "This drawing shows a pinched, bald head emerging from a vulva at birth."<br><br><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK START--><a href="http://www.billheidrick.com/tlc1993/tlc0593.htm">www.billheidrick.com/tlc1993/tlc0593.htm</a><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK END--><br><br>Unfortunately, that comment betrays either poor observational skills*, or even poorer grasp of female anatomy and birthing conventions. Lam appears to be emerging not from the slightly open vaginal opening clearly delineated by the hand-like labia, but either from the urethra (eeeyooooowwww!) or the anus.<br><br>If you haven't given birth you probably aren't blenching at the thought of that head emerging out of any part of your body. As bad as giving birth to Stewie from Family Guy.<br><br><br>*I should hasten to add that in the years I knew him from a religious bulletin board we were both on in the nineties, Bill Heidrick was always erudite, helpful and courteous.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
