Hellyer did a similar thing last year, by attending and addressing the 9/11 People's Inquiry in Toronto.

I hate to say this, but Hellyer marginalized himself in public life long ago. Since holding office in the '60s-early '70s he's quit and joined, and quit, just about every party there is, and started a couple of his own. I think he has integrity, but he hasn't been a serious figure for 30 years. So I'm afraid Canadians who remember Hellyer aren't likely to be impressed he's addressing a UFO conference.
