This is about the creepiest of many creepy events in recent history. <p></p><i></i>

How creepy and bizarre indeed -- the Gummint's goal of a 'symphony of preparedness' to defend public confidence. The bitter tragicomic nightmare-farce irony is, of course, that the biggest threat to public confidence is the selfsame bloated, corrupt corporate-bureaucratic plutocracy, that has made a global industry out of political crime, blackmail, psyops, smuggling, war, racketeering and genocide, now using legal institutions to grant its agents/co-conspirators immunity and intelligence to hide the fact of government illegitimacy and endemic wrongdoing from the public -- using the convoluted reasoning that this serves the 'greater good'.<br><br>What else can we expect from a corrupt, ruling-elite plutocracy that sees itself as above the law, that uses the elaborate charade of 'pre-emptive defense' to justify its opportunistic wars of Imperialist consolidation, that mismanages finances and pillages the public treasury to reward corporate and partisan loyalty, that increasingly claims the Constitition is 'just a piece of paper' and essentially unAmerican, that International Law and treaty agreements can't be allowed to interfere or limit American sovereignty or Foreign Policy, and that human and civil rights legislation/regulations are at-most 'quaint' and outmoded?<br><br>-- While the corporate-media monopoly routinely misinforms a naive and gullible public with outrageous spin and propaganda, presenting a revisionist history that minimizes blowback and whitewashes neocolonialism, that continues to shield officials from accountability while disguising the true state of the nation and world as it collectively denies its role as a co-dependant enabler of treason, systemic abuse of power, election fraud and 'other' crimes of Empire.<br><br>A sure sign of governmental abuse of authority, insularity and endemic rot is when a government makes war on Truth and villianizes citizens who criticize and oppose its policies, framing complex issues in the simplest of emotionally-charged good-and-bad terms.<br><br>Ah, we know the drill -- we're seeing it unfold right before our eyes in greater outrageous detail each and every day, following a well-worn script modified to suit changing conditions -- as true power is international and almost always remains hidden, and so 'invisible', acting, influencing and exerting force behind the scenes, working thru props and fronts like Bush and the GOP, Blair and Israel, 'Al Qaeda' and Hamas, 911 and the 'War on Terror'.<br><br>Ooops -- I fear I'm rambling (again).<br><!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :\ --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br>Starman <p></p><i></i>
