sw, I'm not sure whether this is the same problem as yours, but for some reason lately I've had to hit "reload" in order to get new posts on the main site, whereas in the past all I had to do was open the page. So FWIW, it might not be just you.

thanks

When I go to Explorer your latest post
comes up."

Anyone know why that might happen? Anyone else using Netscape and finding a similar problem?

This problem is a common complaint of people who access the web through proxy caches. Some ISP's use trasparent web proxy caches, where the ISP attempts to fulfill your request for a web page from a copy on one of their servers instead of using their backbone bandwidth to retrieve a fresh copy.

This problem does seem to affect IE and Netscape/Firefox users differently.

The following page has some tips on how to force a reload of your ISP's cache with various browsers: homepage.ntlworld.com/rob...freshstale

If you scroll up a bit, there's also a link to the following site that tells you if you are accessing the internet through a web proxy: www.broadband-help.com/to...tInfo.aspx

Edited by: Iroquois at: 2/26/06 3:16 pm

Yet one more reason to lobby to have Jeff automatically put a topic starter for each of his posts on EZboard with a link to that post...I don't like the way the "comments" work. He can even post the full article with artwork but anyway, I think it would be a nice addition.

I have never been able to access Jeff's blogging in the normal fashion, but the ez board always works. I also agree that it would be more enjoyable if the blog comments could be included on the discussion board. It seems to disrupt the creative flow, and there are so many talented people with words to add(not like i am one of them, but i know it when i read it). So here is one lobbying effort, love,m.

Yikes. Thanks for the heads up on this. I wondered why nothing new since 'Accidents Will Happen' had been posted by Jeff.

Hitting refresh updated the front page for my Firefox.
