Just received a mailer from
www.chaseblink.com concerning my Chase credit card. Evidently they are pushing "blink" technology in the Denver area. After going to the chaseblink.com, it appears the blink technology is just rfid with a kinder nicer name to confuse the user. They were planning on canceling my current card, and sending me the new rfid "blink" card for use. I immediately contacted them and said I would cancel my account if forced to use a rfid card. I suggest people be aware of this and refuse to take the rfid card. Citibank "lost" 3.9 million credit records, I'm sure it won't be too long before the mob pays some mid-level tech for the "blink" secrets and develops a hand held scanner to be used in crowds. Encryption is not perfect, it can be cracked. Just refuse this technology, at least until we are forced to use it.
