Quote:
In August last year there was a similar incident when a Turkish truck carrying a ton of zirconium silicate supplied by a British firm was stopped by Bulgarian customs at the Turkish border on its way to Tehran, after travelling from Britain, through Germany and Romania, without being stopped.

Apparently the Bulgarians have their shit together.

And really, would it be that hard for the Brits to put a few controls on known radioactive and hazardous materials? Especially when the recipient is Iran? Unless of course, you want them to get it. A dirty bomb landin in Israel would be all it would take to kick this thing into high gear now wouldn't it?

why not fly it over directly to Teheran using a commercial cargo carrier? That makes no sense to make the same mistake twice...

I dont think theyre sooo stupid. The whole thing is a pretty ingenious plan, if viewed from a pre-911 perspective. Dont underestimate these people. Theyre not stupid. They only pretend to be. Its part of the strategy.

Edited by: 4911 at: 7/23/06 4:03 am

WMD, Yellowcake, Dirty Bomb. Warmongers scaremongering.

Nowhere in that article does it say that the devices were ordered by Iran, only sent by an anonymous UK co. with the approval of the DTI.

Suspicious? You should be when the Mail has an exclusive like this. Anyone seen it anywhere else?
