Johnny Nemo, do you feel he is correct with this latest prediction?

I woke up in the wee hours of the morning with, of all channels, Fox News blaring at me. I gotta tell you they sounded like vampires slobbering after a nice hot jugular when relaying this information about the "foiled attacks". The first count I heard was 20 planes, then as I flipped channels around it was down to 6. I haven't watched today, it's too repetitive... SOS over and over and over.

When I saw this, I said, what unmitigated tripe. Or maybe I'm just getting too cynical for my own good these days. I've been lied to so much by this government I feel like a pin cushion poked too many times by sharp pointy forked tongues.

...pretty calm in some videos.. cept that vader one... LOL

Postby anotherdrew » Thu Aug 10, 2006 8:23 pm

Alex is probably right, why wouldn't he be? this is a no-brainer prediction. The only question is how many people will bush kill this time?

As for the style-police saying he's not communicating, then why is he on nation-wide radio? He's fairly well known out there in the world, he's been in several of Linklaters movies also.

After 9/11, I was pretty obnoxious because people didn't seem to want to listen. I dialed it back a few nothces, began explaining a few facts to them; brought Bamfords book Body of Secrets to work and showed them the passages on Operation Northwoods, found docs and articles on the internet and forwarded them along; pointed out the eerie similarities betweed controlled demo and the fall of the towers You want to know the sad, depressing, horrible thing? I convinced a lot of people, but you would think I had only convinced them the world was round- interesting info, but what has it to do with me? I don't even try any more. It's now enough that I've convinced my own family, and they care enough to further inform themselves, and live their lives like it matters.

Edited by: sunny at: 8/10/06 6:33 pm

"just 36 hours after the World Trade Center comes out all of a sudden its announced a big 10 planes exploding in the fiery sky 'terror plot' has been 'thwarted'...come on."

Well, I thought the timing, coming so quickly on the tails of Lamonts "anti-war" victory of war hawk Lieberman was much more suspicious, especially as Cheney and the rest have shot out of the shutes deriding Lamont. Seeing that, I'm wondering if they see more threat in Lamont on a national stage than anyone realizes. I've noticed that the Dem candidates that the Republicans perceive to be most dangerous are the ones they try their hardest to make look ridiculous. They KNEW that Dean had potential to destroy them, hence the campaign to mock him. Always look for those they deride, mock-- Karl has already figured out their potential to be dangerous.

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 8/10/06 7:53 pm

There is a flip side to their putting GW on a pedestal, they can turn on him in a heartbeat. Lately, many have been whispering about how the Bush administration isn't really conservative enough (the budget deficit and other simular issues). When you are dealing with superstious and ignorant people, it doesn't take a lot for them to turn on you.

The language and phrases that Alex Jones uses are very much in tune with how such ordinary folk here in the belly of the midwest think. It's what kind of turns me off about Alex, that and his near hysteria.

But when I think about it I do agree with him on a few points, he goes waaayyyyy over board on some issues but he does get a few things right IMHO.

And there is another consideration, he is a very handy out for those in the services who are working against the current reign of king George. If you wanted to get something no one else would touch out there, Alex would be a good conduit. But that is as true for disinfo also so.... take a salt tablet with your Alex Jones.

I remember a few years ago when Alex's archives were free and went back the first week of September, 2001. His touting his "Operation Expose-the-government-terrorists" from that summer was not just revisionist history. On the Friday before 9/11, he mentioned it to a caller, saying "We know about their plan to use terrorism to get us to accept their police state." He mentioned it again on September 10, and his first words when he got on the air on 9/11, were, unsurprisingly, "I told you this would happen."
