Marilyn Monroe: "I have control - control of my life&qu

Postby proldic » Sat Aug 06, 2005 2:56 pm

From LA Times:

What follows are excerpts from John W. Miner's transcript of tapes that Marilyn Monroe is said to have made for her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson, in the days before her death in 1962.

Dear Doctor,

You have given me everything. Because of you I can now feel what I never felt before. So now I am a whole woman (pun intended — like Shakespeare). So now I have control — control of myself — control of my life.

What can I give you? Not money. I know that from me that means nothing to you. Not my body — I know your professional ethics and faithfulness to your wonderful wife make that impossible. What I am going to give you is my idea that will revolutionize psychoanalysis.

Isn't it true that the key to analysis is free association? Marilyn Monroe associates. You, my doctor, by understanding and interpretation of what goes on in my mind, get to my unconscious, which makes it possible for you to treat my neuroses and for me to overcome them. But when you tell me to relax and say whatever I am thinking, I blank out and have nothing to say; that's what you and Dr. Freud call resistance. So we talk about other things and I answer your questions as best I can. You are the only person in the world I have never told a lie to and never will.

OK, Dr. Greenson. You are the greatest psychiatrist in the world. You tell me. Has Marilyn Monroe invented an important way to make psychoanalysis work better? After you listen to my tapes and use them to treat me, you could publish a paper in a scientific journal. Wouldn't that be sensational? I don't want any credit. I don't want to be identified in your paper. It's my present to you. I'll never tell anybody about it. You will be the first to let your profession know how to lick resistance. Maybe you could patent the idea and license it to your colleagues…. You are the only person who will ever know the most private, the most secret thoughts of Marilyn Monroe. I have absolute confidence and trust you will never reveal to a living soul what I say to you...

On JFK:

Marilyn Monroe is a soldier. Her commander in chief is the greatest and most powerful man in the world. The first duty of a soldier is to obey her commander in chief. He says, "Do this." You do this. He says, "Do that." You do that.

This man is going to change our country. No child will go hungry. No person will sleep in the street and get his meals from garbage cans. People who can't afford it will get good medical care. Industrial products will be the best in the world. No, I'm not talking Utopia — that's an illusion, but he will transform America today like FDR did in the '30s...

On 20th Century Fox executives:

If I have to do any more pictures for those [expletives deleted] at Fox, I am going to be the highest paid actress in Hollywood, double what they pay [Elizabeth] Taylor, and a piece of the gross. I'll choose the script, director and cast. The pictures will be box office hits. I'll put part of the millions I make in no-risk investments. The rest I'll use to finance my plan.

On her plans to do Shakespeare

I'll take a year of day and night study of Shakespeare with Lee Strasberg. I'll pay him to work only with me. He said I could do Shakespeare. I'll make him prove it. That will give me the basics [actor Laurence] Olivier wanted. Then I'll go to Olivier for the help he promised. And I'll pay whatever he wants. Then I'll produce and act in the Marilyn Monroe Shakespeare Film Festival which will put his major plays on film. I'll need you to keep me together for a year or more. I'll pay you to be your only patient….

The information from this source confirms something I've felt for many years. Marilyn may NOT have had an affair with JFK after all.

All the rumours swirling around JFK that started a few years after he died to the effect that he f'd non-stop the entire time he was in the WH rang a little hollow for me. After all, I was around then and remember a non-stop series of family tragedies for the Kennedys including

His poor health--back so bad he had to sit in a rocking chair to ease the pain.

Death of two children who died at birth.

Illness of his father who suffered a stroke.

It would take a total psycopath to continue to boink everthing in sight under those traumatic circumstances.

JFK did not strike me as a psychopath. He struck me as an incredibily naive young man, protected by his father's wealth and his mother's religion from all the evil going on around him.

I'm not dismissing the groupie factor that surrounded a man of such good looks and power...I'm just saying that these rumours were more than likely created after the fact to destroy the veneration for JFK felt by people all over the world. The rumors to destroy his reputation were more than likely started by the same people who killed him.

Marilyn and JFK

Postby robertdreed » Sat Aug 06, 2005 8:56 pm

I just read Mr. S, a tell-all memoir about Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, the Hollywood social whirl, the Kennedys, etc. It's by Sinatra's former valet, George Jacobs, with William Stadiem. Published in 2002.

Terrific collection of anecdotes, including ones about Marilyn and JFK. Also a some stories about father Joseph Kennedy, who comes off as perhaps as the most negative character in the book. Considering the competition detailed by Jacobs in that book, no mean feat.

I found the book credible, as unverifiable first-person memoirs go. Much more so than Anthony Summers' book on Marilyn. I've tended to find Summers books a bit over-hypey.

In Jacob's' book, Marilyn comes off as sort of a mess. And sexy anyway.

Despite his bad back, Jack Kennedy had a lot of sex, albeit of the "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" variety. He was on a lot of pain-killing and stimulant meds, too. Plenty of sources document that.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 8/6/05 8:40 pm

I am sure he was on painkillers for his back.

I'm also sure that the same professional liars made up a lot of the stories about his sexcapades...he simply did not have enough TIME do do all the boinking attributed to him.

Remember came onto the political scene like a comet and disappeared just as fast. In the meantime it was a neverending series of crisies both personal and political....travels to foreign nations...where he was received with joyous open arms...not like the current prick.

His WH was much more open that Bush's there were constant parties and recities put on by Jackie...we saw the newsclips. It was a celebration of the arts. Also the family was followed around like Princess Di with photogs under every bush. I was around at the time and followed it very closely in the media. Believe me when I tell you, there was nary a breath of scandal during the entire period JFK was alive...it only started up two to three years after his death with surreptitious leaks to the press and rumours and innuendos much like the same creeps that run the media rumourmills nowadays only then we were all a bit naive and believed it. Now, with their track record of lies?

I'm beginning to revisit all they said about JFK just like everything they've said about everything that didn't fit with their agenda for the US...and obviously JFK did NOT fit with their agenda for the US.

Let's face it...how many books would sell if they said that JFK was for the large part faithful to his beautiful and intellectually superior wife and devoted to his children [which he appeared to be]?

I don't know how I ended up being an apologist for JFK...didn't start out that way...just that everything they've said recently has been a damnable lie so why not what they said about the man they killed?

> I'm also sure that the same professional liars made up a lot of the stories about his sexcapades...he simply did not have enough TIME do do all the boinking attributed to him.

A huge propaganda campaign started after the JFK assassination in order to stop people from looking what really happened.

As far as his affairs goes, the only one which is more or less certain is the one with Mary Pinchot Meyer which was a weird affair as well, since she had been part of Operation Mockingbird and her husband Cord Meyer was deeply involved with the CIA and was the principal operative of Operation Mockingbird.

Since the summer of 1954 the Meyers were the neighbors of the Kennedies. In October 1961 Mary and Jack started seeing one another in the White House as well. It is believed that the affair started around that time.

However the year after Kennedy was assassinated, Mary Pinchot Meyer was murdered as well. On 12th October, 1964, Mary Pinchot Meyer was shot dead as she walked along the Chesapeake and Ohio towpath in Georgetown. Henry Wiggins, a car mechanic, was working on a vehicle on Canal Road, when he heard a woman shout out: "Someone help me, someone help me". He then heard two gunshots. Wiggins ran to the edge of the wall overlooking the tow path. He later told police he saw "a black man in a light jacket, dark slacks, and a dark cap standing over the body of a white woman."

Mary appeared to be killed by a professional hitman. A black patsy was arrested quite quickly afterwards and the judge in the case was a friend of Lyndon Johnson.

Mary had been keeping a diary all those years. James Angleton, CIA counterintelligence chief, admitted that he knew of Mary's relationship with John F. Kennedy and was searching her home looking for her diary and any letters that would reveal details of the affair. According to Ben Bradlee, it was Mary's sister, Antoinette Bradlee, who found the diary and letters a few days later. It was claimed that the diary was in a metal box in Mary's studio. The contents of the box were given to Angleton who claimed he burnt the diary. Angleton later admitted that Mary recorded in her diary that she had taken LSD with Kennedy before "they made love".

In February, 2001, the writer, C. David Heymann, asked Cord Meyer about the death of Mary Pinchot Meyer: "My father died of a heart attack the same year Mary was killed, " he whispered. "It was a bad time." And what could he say about Mary Meyer? Who had committed such a heinous crime? "The same sons of bitches," he hissed, "that killed John F. Kennedy."

Summarized from:
www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKmeyerM.htm

As far as Marilyn Monroe goes, I don't know. Somehow I think that the story of that alleged affair is more wishful thinking.

I don't know why all the contemporary democratic presidents [with the notable and laudable exception of Jimmy Carter] had to have affairs with set-up trollups of the CIA/Zionists.

Certainly does not say much for their 'intelligence'.

I never heard of this Mary Meyer but certainly her marriage to Cord Meyer couldn't have been worth much if she was boinking the president right under his nose.

Re: MPM, Leary and JFK

Postby robertdreed » Sun Aug 07, 2005 7:55 am

Mary Pinchot Meyer was divorced from Cord Meyer by the time she was involved with JFK. As to Leary's claims of an affair with MPM- I'm going to go to the stacks, and look for outside confirmation, preferably from a source besides Leary's (multiple) autobiographies, or Acid Dreams, or Storming Heaven (all of which I've read.) I'll check the refs from the last two books...

"Angleton later admitted that Mary recorded in her diary that she had taken LSD with Kennedy before "they made love"."

That's new info to me. Who added that to the file?

JFK had a lot of extramarital sexual affairs. That's a fact verified repeatedly by friends and associates.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 8/7/05 5:58 pm

Who added that to the file?

The story was written by John Simkin and he has a whole discussion on the subject on his messageboard:

educationforum.ipbhost.co...topic=3520

According to the discussion it comes from Flashbacks page 128/129 (post by Lee Forman)

However I also read that Jim DiEugenio is skeptical about the account in his book The Posthumous Assassination of John F. Kennedy, however John Simkin dismisses the part since Jim is not an objective observer. Anyway you can read the whole story at the link provided above

Edited by: DrDebugDU at: 8/7/05 4:20 pm
