AP Wednesday, August 10, 2005 10:29 p.m. ET:<br><br>FBI Eyes Convict Ties in Collar-Bomb Case <br><br>ERIE, Pa. -- FBI agents have seized shoes and letters written by a convicted rapist... <br><br>Janet M. Ponsford...told the Erie Times-News...that the FBI sought the items belonging to her ex-husband, 58-year-old Floyd A. Stockton Jr., who is now serving a rape sentence in Washington state. <br><br> Authorities are searching for clues to who wrote a nine-page letter that directed pizza deliveryman Brian Wells to rob a bank in two years ago. Stockton was living in the area at the time. <br><br> On Aug. 28, 2003, Wells robbed the bank with a pipe bomb locked around his neck on a crudely constructed collar. Wells said he had been forced to wear the device. Police had him surrounded and were waiting for a bomb squad to arrive when the bomb exploded, killing him...<br><br><br><br><br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>
