"theresistancemanifesto.com": what's up with that?

Postby Rigorous Intuition » Fri Apr 22, 2005 3:36 pm

Someone posted a reference on the blog to the "Georgia Guidestones," which I'd never heard of. I did a little Googling and discovered some want them destroyed, which led me to this:

www.theresistancemanifesto.com/

I think it's a rather disturbing incitement to violence. Particularly disturbing because it takes up a number of issues familiar to us, like the Gosch case, elite paedophilia and mind control. (And an extremely creepy video, "Message to Michael Aquino.")

I'm wondering what people make of it. Does this guy strike you as genuine (if so, it's a foolish invitation to Gitmo) or a provocateur?

Regardless, it's ugly and reactionary, and seems an invitation to call dissidents domestic terrorists.

Edited by: Rigorous Intuition at: 4/22/05 1:45 pm

Ted is the retired Senior Special Agent in Charge of Los Angeles. Gunderson has been following the Johny Gosh kidnapping, and is one of the primary players in exposing Satanic, child predators. He and former Senator John Decamp of Nebraska have uncovered crimes, i don't even want to write about, they are so sick. I quote both Gunderson and Decamp in The Resistance Manifesto, in the chapters on Bohemian Grove and Satanism. You do know that Gunderson and Decamp have uncovered alligations of ritual child abuse and murder in the Bohemain Grove, right? It's all in the manifesto. Quoting Ted is one thing. Actually talking to him was totally different. i'm kind of freaked out right now. he told me his phone was tapped, and that the FBI knew who i was. Go to www.JohnnyGosch.com to stream the interview with him, and to stream an interview with Noreen Gosch.

Some of the early forum joiners are old hands at godlikeproductions; a most confusing mix all around.

this is a game (i think)

Postby bindare » Fri Apr 22, 2005 5:45 pm

The site is professionally designed and maintained --- there is time and effort behind it. But I think John Conner is a character from a game, here is what XBOX had to say:

[em]"If you've seen the Terminator movies, then you know the premiss of it. A berserk program called Skynet had started a war between the humans and the machines. Far in the future, the world is a wreck. A barren wasteland of death. The humans had been fighting a losing war with the cybernetic minions of Skynet for decades. Then, one of the resistance soldiers, Kyle Reese, has gone back in time to make sure that the mother of John Conner, leader of the resistance, is not killed. Why is he worried that Sarah Conner (John Conner's mother) might be killed in the past? A nearly un-stoppable cyborg assassin called the Terminator (played by Arnold "Govonator" Schwarzenegger) has gone back in time to eliminate Sarah Conner to prevent the birth of John Conner, which means stopping the resistance from starting. And there begins the Terminator movie. However, Terminator: Dawn of Fate does not cover what happens in the movies, but rather it is a prequel for the first Terminator movie, showing the events that happened in the future before Kyle went back in time.[/em]

www.xboxreloaded.com/review61.html

The only reason I don't think it's some kind of AGN-type game is that it's crazy homophobic and features lots of pro-Bible stuff. I don't think even Microsoft would risk dipping their toes in that water. Well, not so blatantly, anyhow.

More likely the guy's just a Terminator fan who decided it'd be a good story-system to grab for his personal crusade.

Man, I really hate having guns being waved around & pointed at me, even on some crank's homepage.

For someone to name themselves after a fictional hero is
not uncommon. I mean, just look at how many "Keyser
Soze"s, "John Winston"s and "Snake Plisskin"s are there are
out there on the net.

As someone in the heart of the Bible Belt south, I can tell
you that there are plenty of people around here who
are hip to the cutting edge of conspiracy theory, but still
retain their basic gun-happy, militia-esque, rural Christian
values. I don't see the website as being "disinfo",
particularly. There are a lot of people who fit the niche that
the site serves.

I think they're pretty young and naive, though, and probably
harmless. I mean, how can anyone be aware of some of
the things they're aware of, and still waste so much time
and effort griping about some granite monument in the
middle of nowhere?

The Google satellite map of the monument is here:

maps.google.com/maps?li=r...,+GA+30635

...but the resolution is so poor you can't really discern which
white dot is it.

This site is either one of two things:

Postby WhoCountsTheVotes » Sat Jul 02, 2005 4:37 pm

This site is either a great small business for a creative guy selling conspiracy theories to right wing Christians (most likely) - or, it's a honey pot designed to get info on and organize "radical" paranoid Christians.

After listening to his anti-gay speech, it's very, very obvious this site is NOT based in any typical right wing Christian churches or organizations - the rhetoric was all wrong - it's not authentic.

Very entertaining site though.

Also - no mention of abortion on the site

Postby WhoCountsTheVotes » Sat Jul 02, 2005 5:12 pm

The anti-gay stuff - without anti-abortion rhetoric - is a sure sign it's not actually connected to any Christian organizations. So it's not Christian fundamentalism in the traditional sense. I think it's just a site basically just like this one - but with a more populist, paleoconservative-style audience.

Aryan Nation step aside!

Postby sparkinthedark » Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:10 pm

Sounds like basic skin head stuff to me. The look, the language- straight from northern Idaho. Anybody who is that sure they have the answers scare me to death. I bet if you dug a little deeper you would find white Christians Americans are the only ones allowed to live in their perfect world.

sparkinthedark, not skinheads

Postby WhoCountsTheVotes » Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:28 pm

I spent the last few hours checking this site out - it's not skinhead/Aryan Nations stuff either, at least, I didn't see anything indicative of that. In fact, it seemed like the only thing "right wing" about it at all was the anti-gay and anti-porn stuff. There was nothing I saw that was racialist in any way. The anti-gay slant came across more as a fratboy "fags are gross" kind of thing.

I also noticed NOTHING pro-capitalist or pro-libertopian either. He called Mormons a "Satanic cult" but he said some nice things about Catholics and the Pope - so again, this is not KKK or Christian identity. He also went after Walmart

I think the guy's just trying to get a radio show frankly. Aside from the anti-gay stuff, there was not much there I disagreed with. I am probably very close to his target audience.

one more interesting thing about the site ...

Postby WhoCountsTheVotes » Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:37 pm

Another intereseting thing about the site - about a third of what's posted there is in French! I suppose this could be a Louisiana or Quebec connection, but it was surprising to see that.
