Registration Offices should post special Saturday hours once a month at the Voter Registration Office, plus provide IDs-On-Wheels for those who cannot make it to the Registration Office due to their disability or job.
Registration should be closed one month before an election in order to verify that the registrations are legitimate and the records up-to-date.
Develop a formula of registered voters per poll divided by the number of poll workers needed to get ballots counted on election day; the length of ballot also needs to be factored in.
PROTOCOLS FOR POLITICAL REPRESENTATION:
Ban "AT LARGE" town council candidates as it results in over-representation by the majority party.
Ban gerrymandering by using a static grid.

In 1992, nearly three decades after JFK was slain by hidden sniper fire in Dallas, TX, on Nov. 22, 1963, Congress without any dissenting votes passed a statute “to provide for the expeditious disclosure of records relevant to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.”
The recent astonishing refusal of President Trump to release in full the contents of all remaining classified JFK assassination files confirms that more than half a century after the assassination the governmental coverup of the full truth about that dreadful murder is still underway.
This article reviews the actions immediately preceding October 26, 2017, the date the JFK assassination records were required to be disclosed in full to the public; absent a certification by the President of the United States that the public interest in disclosure is outweighed by the type of identifiable harm specified in the statute.

This isn’t a good look for the Las Vegas Metro PD, even if it’s completely supported by court precedent. No matter how often law enforcement agencies sling around the phrase “protect and serve,” they have almost no legal obligation to do either of those things.
Sometimes a “failure to intervene” allegation might undermine a cop’s attempt to secure qualified immunity for violations committed by other cops, but when it comes to crimes being committed against regular people, cops simply aren’t legally obliged to stop crimes in progress even when they’re already at the scene.
But this lawsuit is hoping a court might find otherwise. Whether or not it does, it will definitely expose some cops for what they are: lazy opportunists who aren’t really in the life-saving business. Even if the officers are found to be on the right side of judicial precedent, they’re not going to come out of this looking like people who should be employed as police officers.
Las Vegas police officers stood outside listening as a 74-year-old woman was stabbed 68 times and killed by one of her sons in her home, a lawsuit filed Saturday alleged.

As of July 2024, there are 80 projects either already being built or in the process of negotiating contracts to begin construction. Ten states have plans for multiple police compounds. The creation of these training facilities marks a new chapter of policing in the U.S.
Disability justice and disabled community organizers must be at the forefront of the nationwide movement to stop cop cities because this movement is a disability justice issue.

There are things you can and can’t do when setting up checkpoints. If it’s DUI enforcement, you can talk to drivers and see if they seem intoxicated. If it’s near a border, you can stop every vehicle to search for undocumented immigrants or contraband.
What you can’t do, however, is just set up a checkpoint to stop all cars just to eyeball the interiors and question occupants in hopes of discovering contraband or evidence of illegal activity. That’s pretty much the same thing as entering every house on the block to search for criminal evidence. Just because cars aren’t houses and are traveling on public roads doesn’t give the government the right to engage in some “general rummaging.”
This much was made clear in the Supreme Court’s decision in City of Indianapolis v. Edmond.

Washington, DC, April 02, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The New Civil Liberties Alliance filed a Complaint today urging the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to compel the Federal Bureau of Investigation to disclose records concerning payments it has reportedly made to social media companies, media organizations, and other non-government entities. NCLA submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for these records in January 2023. NCLA would like to determine whether FBI paid X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms to modify their content moderation policies or algorithms—potentially aligning them with the government’s policy positions and views on topics like “misinformation” or “disinformation.” Rather than comply with NCLA’s request, FBI rejected it outright, informing NCLA that the agency had not conducted a search for a single requested document and refused to confirm or deny whether any of the records exist at all.
