44 is not a number i'd ask for.
(5/6/11 which i picked because it was less obvious than 11:11:11, i now know, is coincidentally the release date for the Captain America movie "The First Avenger". they're normally more obvious, so it'd probably be something more like 11/22/11 for an even 44, discomysticists [like the folks who paid for 911] are odd fellows and their OCD tendencies are part of the shell programming)
8bit and i discussed it(king kill 44), i think, in one of the 8/8/8 threads about the chinese olympics or some such place. i cannae find it by searching. lots of 8's this year. the ceremony even had the proper symbolism and the location was appropriate. (the torch ritual itself, IIRC, was adolf hitler's last good idea)
the standard interpretation of something like the Olympic symbol is somewhat comparable to something not unlike the photos on the last page, 5 Kings symbolizing Dominance of the Earth.
if it was the same guys as always, it's OCD tendencies would be inversely Thelemic, therefore you'd expect something like an abberation of the already quite primitive ritual below:

In this Ritual the Chief Officer representeth a Snake, because of Mercury. (the proper food of snakes is frogs.) The Mystery of Conception is the catching of the frog in silence, and the affirmation of the Will to perform this ceremony.
I
The frog being caught is kept all night in an ark or chest; as it is written, 'Thou didst not abhor the Virgin's Womb'. Presently the frog will begin to leap therein, and this is an omen of good success. Dawn being come, thou shalt approach the chest with an offering of gold, and if available of frankincense and of myrrh. Thou shalt then release the frog from the chest with many acts of homage and place it in apparent liberty. He may, for example, be placed on a quilt of many colours, and covered with a net.

there was one HVAC tech who used to work at my bros job-he wore such tight fitting jeans-never saw the dude myself-but he caused something of a 'sensation' during the time of his employment among the men and the women fixation reminded me of it-everyone called him "The Total Package"!
