This is a story about  ‘connections,’ elite deviance and the CIA.  More specifically,  Donald Trump’s connections, a  word which has a long history of usage in organized crime.
As in,  ‘He’s connected.’
A member of the Mafia is known as a ‘made guy.’ Someone who’s ‘connected’ has been vouched for by a ‘made guy,’ who typically refers to him as “a friend of mine.”
The growth of transnational organized crime has now rendered this lexicon somewhat out of date. Organized crime’s typically hierarchical crime structure—soldiers, button men, capos, underbosses, kingpins—has given way to more informal networks which s

Vandalism Fears, Racist Cats: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts releases comments on Kehinde Wiley acquisition
Everyone’s a critic, sure, but we weren’t prepared for a racist critique co-signed by two cats.
Written by Tom Nash
Edited by Beryl Lipton
Everyone’s a critic. But nothing prepared us for the racist art critique co-signed by two Virginia cats.
In June, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts announced its acquisition of “Rumors of War,” a sculpture by world-renowned artist Kehinde Wiley created in response to Richmond’s Monument Avenue. The stretch of tony Richmond real estate started to take shape in the 1890s when Lost Cause backers began erecting equestrian statues of Confederate generals, just as the city’s ascendant Black middle class came under attack from Jim Crow laws. Wiley became inspired by Monument Avenue’s J.E.B. Stuart statue, which he saw while in town for the opening of his 2016 VMFA exhibition, and “Rumors of War” bears a resemblance to the figure—with Stuart replaced.
Wiley unveiled the statue in Times Square in September. It will take its place in front of the VMFA in December. Being a government agency, the comments received by VMFA at the front desk or by email belong to us. Ahead of the December installation, we thought we’d see what people have to say so far.
The bulk of the 29 comments received and provided to us under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act came in just after the announcement, with some trickling in following the unveiling.
Eighteen registered some form of enthusiasm—whether that meant congratulating VMFA Director Alex Nyerges or worrying Virginians would attempt to va

Postby fruhmenschen » Mon Nov 18, 2019 10:33 am

Kirk, I just emailed your email below to our people throughout the country. Charlie

PS. Kirk was the first person on death row found innocent by DNA.

---------- Forwarded message ---------
From: Kirk Bloodsworth <info@witnesstoinnocence.org>
Date: Fri, Nov 15, 2019 at 10:19 PM
Subject: Tonight, Rodney will hear the voice of a death row survivor.
To: <cure@curenational.org>

Dear friends,
Twenty-four hours ago, I was standing in front of the Supreme Court with my death row exoneree brother, Shujaa Graham, and the family of Rodney Reed. We were praying for a stay of execution. We were telling the nation why the death penalty must be abolished.
Then, as I was preparing to fly to the Texas capitol to continue to fight for Rodney's life, I received the news that today the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals stayed the execution and instructed the district court to review Rodney's innocence claims.
The entire Witness to Innocence family breathed a huge sigh of relief. We have sat on death row. We have had our innocence denied. We have faced execution dates. The fight for Rodney's life is a continuation of our own battles to survive death row.
Before the stay of execution, I recorded this video:

Watch the Video
Even as I write this, our work continues. Juan Melendez is on his way to do a radio show that will air inside Texas prisons. Rodney will be able to hear Juan's voice and know that the death row exonerees of Witness to Innocence are with him.
Thank you for standing with us and with Rodney Reed. The death penalty is a torturous weight upon anyone sitting in that cell, innocent or guilty. Together, we can, and we must, bring it to an end.
Sincerely,
Kirk Bloodsworth
Executive Director

Witness to Innocence is the only national organization in the United States composed of and led by exonerated death row survivors and their family members. Our mission is to abolish the death penalty by empowering our members to become effective leaders in the abolition movement. We actively challenge political leaders and the public to grapple with the reality of a fatally flawed criminal justice system that sends innocent people to death row. We also seek ways to support death row survivors and their loved ones as they confront the challenges of life after exoneration.

Fish don’t much like the scrubby invasive seaweeds that are replacing them, researchers find.

Commentary: Speak up now to protect Atlantic puffins and the fish they rely on
Herring conservation measures will also benefit cod, salmon and many other predatory marine species.

As a seabird lover and scientist, I am lucky enough to migrate every summer to coastal Maine to study the local seabirds. I get to watch firsthand as Atlantic puffins nest and forage for fish all summer long. Every time I boat out to one of the puffin islands, I see firsthand why they need a steady supply of forage fish. As the boat pulls up and the fog clears, streams of puffins zoom past us. Each bird departs the island many times per day with just one goal: to find enough forage fish to feed themselves and their chicks.
Atlantic puffins do best when they can find and catch a species of forage fish called Atlantic herring, which are small, schooling fish commercially harvested for lobster bait, vitamins, fertilizer and more. Puffins prefer this tiny but mighty fish because they are the right size to slide down their small beaks, an

Do you have the right to know what police officers engaged in misconduct?
Due to a court ruling, federal prosecutors must keep a list of all DC police officers who have been investigated for misconduct. If an officer on this list is called to testify, prosecutors must inform the defense of this information.
Property of the People, a transparency organization, thinks the public should know who’s on this list. That’s why they are litigating a FOIA request seeking the release of the so-called bad cop list.
Join us tomorrow at 1:00 pm (ET) when we will be hosting a Lunchtime Live conversation with Ryan Shapiroand Jeffrey Light, co-founders of Property of the People, to discuss their attempt to liberate this list.

What if it (only) takes a new worldview to free ourselves from the new normal?

Today I told another patient that in fact, there was no need to be so worried about the pandemic.  Used early, hydroxychloroquine worked very effectively as a treatment.

And again the first thing I heard was, "Isn't that the drug Trump talked about?"

Why does what Trump said seem more germane to people than the SARS-CoV-2 virus being treatable?

I now have a retort:  "Even a stopped watch is right twice a day!"

But that is not really the point.  What remains shocking to me is that people have been so conditioned to fear the virus, that it is not even within the realm of possibility that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Nor, to take an even greater leap of consciousness, are some people able to consider that, maybe, there didn't have to be a tunnel.  We have all been holed up in an imaginary tunnel, immobilized by fear and then by laws.

For six months, many people have known that certain drugs were very effective against SARS-CoV-2, but somehow that information has not been allowed to trickle down.

If I ask someone to believe that there is a cheap, safe, available pill that you can get in a drugstore, which could immediately end the lockdowns, masks, and the rotten new normal, I am asking them to give up believing in the world as they know it, and enter the Twilight Zone.

I am starting to think that is considerably harder for many people to entertain a new worldview, than it is to accept the very rotten new normal.

Secret Service Spends $1.1M at President Trump’s Properties, Including Hotel That Was Closed

The Secret Service has dished out $1.1 million to stay at President Trump’s properties since he took office, The Washington Post reports.
The Secret Service was even charged $21,800 to rent a cottage and other rooms for staying at Trump’s Bedminster, N.J., club while it was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. It wasn’t clear why the Secret Service was there, but Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump is believed to have stayed there at least once to celebrate Passover with her family.

Celerino Castillo (born 1949) is a former agent for the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).[1]

Early life and military service

Castillo was a detective sergeant with a Texas Police Department from 1974 until 1979, and graduated from the University of Texas–Pan American in 1976 with a BS in Criminal Justice.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Drug Enforcement Administration

While in Vietnam, Castillo had witnessed first-hand the effects of drug abuse on his soldiers. In 1979, he joined the DEA as an enforcement agent in America's "War on Drugs", specializing in undercover investigation and acting as a foreign diplomat for six years in South and Central America. He is best known for blowing the whistle on the CIA-backed arms-for-drugs trade used to prop up the 1980s Contra counter-insurgency in Nicaragua, and for the book that he wrote on that subject, entitled Powder Burns: Cocaine, Contras and the Drug War and released in 1994, two years after he had left the DEA.

After leaving the DEA Castillo worked as a private investigator, and also worked to promote his book, appearing on television and lecturing at various universities on the drug war and US foreign policy in Latin America. Since 1997 he has been accepted as an expert witness in federal courts on Outrageous Government Conduct, Informants, and Racial Profiling.

In 2008 (three years before Operation Fast and Furious became publicly known) Castillo told reporter Bill Conroy that agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents were participating in the smuggling of high powered weapons into Mexico. According to Castillo the source of that information was a government informer who was later murdered

Gary Stephen Webb (August 31, 1955 – December 10, 2004) was an American investigative journalist.

Gary Stephen Webb
August 31, 1955
Corona, California,
He began his career working for newspapers in Kentucky and Ohio, winning numerous awards, and building a strong reputation for investigative writing. Hired by the San Jose Mercury News, Webb contributed to the paper's Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of the Loma Prieta earthquake.

Webb is best known for his "Dark Alliance" series, which appeared in The Mercury News in 1996. The series examined the origins of the crack cocaine trade in Los Angeles and claimed that members of the anti-communist Contra rebels in Nicaragua had played a major role in creating the trade, using cocaine profits to support their struggle. It also suggested that the Contras may have acted with the knowledge and protection of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The series provoked outrage, particularly in the Los Angeles African-American community, and led to four major investigations of its charges.

CARES Act Relief for Incarcerated Stimulus Fund Recipients

On September 24, 2020, Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued an Order certifying a nationwide class of people incarcerated in state and federal prisons, and granting the plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary injunction requiring the U.S. Department of Treasury, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, and the United States of America to stop withholding CARES Act stimulus funds from plaintiffs or any class member on the sole basis of their incarcerated status.

BREAKING NEWS: OCTOBER 7, 2020
THE IRS HAS EXTENDED THE DEADLINE FOR FILING PAPER CLAIMS TO OCTOBER 30TH. PAPER CLAIMS MAY NOW BE POSTMARKED UP TO OCTOBER 30TH, 2020.
More details below.
On October 7, 2020, the U.S. District Court ordered the IRS to apply an extension of the filing deadline for paper claims to October 30, 2020 (previously granted to certain community organizations) so that it would also apply to the claims of the incarcerated in the U.S. The Court thus extended the deadline for postmarked paper claims to October 30, 2020.
The Court also ordered the IRS to immediately correct misinformation on its website, issue accurate and updated guidance to its own employees on claimant eligibility, alert prison officials to the new extensions and other policy rulings, and send direct notice to incarcerated people about this now-expanded claims process.
On October 5, 2020, the IRS announced it was extending the deadline for filing online claims to November 21, 2020.
Please note that the IRS has not agreed to approve electronic claims submitted by loved ones and third parties for people currently incarcerated. Please continue to check this web page for further updates.
The Judge’s preliminary injunction further ordered the defendants to reconsider their prior denial of advance refund payments to any person based on incarcerated status within 30 days, whether the denial was based on a 2018 or 2019 tax return, or on claims filed through the IRS’s online “Non-Filer” portal.
Earlier, on August 1, 2020, Lieff Cabraser and the Equal Justice Society filed a groundbreaking lawsuit against the United States Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service on behalf of a nationwide class of people who were incarcerated at any time from March 27, 2020 to the present—that is, people serving a sentence in state or federal prison. The lawsuit seeks to have a court order the Defendants to issue CARES Act stimulus relief to all eligible incarcerated people, or up to $1,200 per eligible person plus $500 per qualifying child.
Read the Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers) relating to this decision, including whether and how to make a claim.

Note: This case also benefits people who were incarcerated both before and after March 27, 2020. If they were incarcerated both prior to March 27 and at least some time afterward, then the IRS may have denied them an Economic Impact Payment based on their incarcerated status. The Court’s preliminary injunction establishes that the IRS should not have done that. If they were only incarcerated before March 27, then they were unaffected by the IRS’s policy of denying benefits to incarcerated people, and should a have received a stimulus check. If they have not, they can file the same steps below to file a claim with the IRS, if eligible.

Four cases of Bell's (facial) palsy occurred in subjects in the Pfizer vaccine clinical trial of its mRNA vaccine, none in placebo recipients.  FDA's briefing document mentioned 3 cases, but 4 were discussed at the VRBPAC advisory meeting on December 10.  The briefing document claimed, "This observed frequency of reported Bell’s palsy is consistent with the expected background rate in the general population." (page 43)
Three cases of Bell's palsy occurred in subjects who received Moderna's mRNA vaccine, and one in a plecebo recipient.
One case of Transverse Myelitis occurred in a subject in the Astra-Zeneca Covid vaccine trial.  This is a rare and usually devastating complication.  According to the Mayo Clinic, Transverse myelitis "can cause pain, muscle weakness, paralysis, sensory problems, or bladder and bowel dysfunction... Other conditions, such as a stroke of the spinal cord, are often confused with transverse myelitis."
FDA has failed to warn Americans now being vaccinated about the possibility of Bell's Palsy in its "fact sheet" for the Pfizer vaccine, which is the only printed information patients receive when they are vaccinated.  However, Bell's Palsy is known to be a serious neuro-immune reaction to vaccination.
How do I know?  Because both Bell's Palsy and Transverse Myelitis were listed on the package insert (the label) for anthrax vaccine, which you can read right here.  Luckily, the label was reproduced in the National Academy of Sciences' report on anthrax vaccine, because it is hard to find online... since FDA removed the warnings from a later version of the label.
So far, there is no label for any Covid vaccine, since none have been given a license.  There is only a fact sheet for the Pfizer vaccine.  Once the Moderna vaccine gets an Emergency Use Authorization, FDA, along with the manufacturer, will craft a fact sheet for it.  How much will they tell the public?

Harold Ickes: An Example for Today And For Old Harbor Village Memories: (Part 2 of 5)
December 18, 2020Uncategorized

Ickes the Progressive Republican was always backing a candidate who he hoped would not be in the pockets of big business doing its bidding rather than the peoples and the candidates he backed always seemed to lose, although he seemed to believe that they would have done much worse had he not helped organize their campaigns. He cared about winning but thoroughly enjoyed the battle even when losing.
Over time he came to recognize a few truths about the people. He found: “once again that the public was less responsible to demands for political purity than to the need for party regularity. What seemed to surprise Ickes was not that [his candidate] lost. But that his vote was so small, that such blatant corruption failed to shake party loyalty.”
After seeing municipal reforms he and his friends sought to bring about were mostly rejected he cynically noted: the people, “did not resent a suppression of their civil liberties; they do not object to misgovernment; they can condone even vice and crime. Give them their movies and jazz, radio, baseball and golf links and what the Hell!”

Full Version Banned Film about Massachustts and Maine Prisons

TITTICUT FOLLIES

https://vimeo.com/351835959

https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/titicut-follies-1968

Frederick Wiseman's "Titicut Follies" was filmed in 1966 at the State Hospital for the Criminally Insane at Bridgewater, Mass. It was shown at the 1967 New York Film Festival, had two limited runs in New York and -- aside from a few screenings before film societies -- has had no other distribution. This is its first commercial booking outside New York.
It is not hard to understand why this is the case. "Titicut Follies" is one of the most despairing documentaries I have ever seen; more immediate than fiction because these people are real; more savage than satire because it seems to be neutral.

We are literally taken into a madhouse. Inmates of varying degrees of mental illness are treated with the same casual inhumanity. There is an old man named Jim who is constantly taunted by the guards, whose uniforms are disturbingly similar to a policeman's. While he is being shaved with fast, painful strokes by the barber, the guards needle him: "Why's your room so filthy, Jim? What's that you said, Jim?" They are bullies who have their victim pinned and helpless.
When Jim is returned to his room, it is an absolutely empty cell. And Jim is naked. It appears that the inmates are deprived of clothing much of the time because that is cheaper and makes security easier. It is not explained how naked confinement in a barren cell cures mental illness and indeed this hospital seems to come from the Middle Ages.
Massachusetts legislators have tried for 20 years to suppress Wiseman's film. They say it invades the privacy

We Have a "Duty" to Submit; They Have No Duty to Protect
By William Norman Grigg
Pro Libertate Blog

Somebody is going to die tonight,” a visibly agitated Anthony Lord told a close friend on July 16, 2015. Lord, a resident of Benedicta, Maine, was a registered sex offender who displayed symptoms of violent derangement. His anger had been kindled by a voice mail message from the Maine State Police reporting that a woman named Brittany Irish had accused him of sexually assaulting her, and asking him to visit a local barracks to be interviewed about the matter.
Lord’s entirely plausible threat was reported to Jaime Irish, Brittany’s brother. His frantic phone call to Brittany interrupted a conversation in her home with two Maine state troopers. They were discussing both Irish’s sexual assault complaint and her report that the barn at her parents’ home had been set on fire – most likely by Lord, who knew the family well.

Brittany’s initial relief at the presence of two officers sworn to “serve and protect” she was quickly transmuted into incredulity when the troopers refused a request to deploy officers to watch her and her two small children (who were visiting relatives at another location). Protecting a rape victim and her family against a credible murder threat from an assailant who was also suspected of carrying out a retaliatory arson attack was not a priority worthy of the man-hours it would entail.
Frantically grasping for whatever reassurance they could get, Brittany and her mother, Kimberly, asked if the police could leave a marked vehicle parked outside the home as a bluff. Even that was seen as an unacceptable expenditure of precious department resources that could be used for more important undertakings, such as traffic enforcement. Indifferently assuring Brittany that they would “keep an eye on the situation,” the troopers drove away.
Myths, Misunderstandings and Outright lies about owning Gold. Are you at risk?
The fire that destroyed the Irish family’s barn was not the beginning of Lord’s depredations. A few hours earlier he broke into the home of a Silver Ridge man named Kary Mayo, beat him, tied him to a chair, and stole his guns and a pickup truck.
Early the following morning, Lord shot his way into the Irish home, killing Brittany’s boyfriend Kyle Hewitt and wounding her mother, who suffers from multiple sclerosis. Brittany, who suffered a superficial gunshot wound to her arm, exited through a bathroom window and tried to escape, but she was chased down by Lord. When a 60-year-old local resident named Carlton Eddy happened by in a truck, Lord flagged him down — then shot the driver and stole his vehicle. After strangling her into submission, Lord tied the victim up with a seatbelt and sped away.

For reasons yet to be explained, Lord drove to a nearby

Paul Elias Alexander on why children should not be vaccinated

Please read the entire article by Paul Elias Alexander, who is furiously compiling the evidence on recovered immunity (over 80 articles) and other important issues.  I am only posting the second half below.
https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defe ... -immunity/
Here are six studies that make the case for not vaccinating children:
1. A 2020 Yale University report indicates children and adults display very diverse and different immune system responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection which explains why they have far less illness or mortality from COVID.
According to the study:
“Since the earliest days of the COVID-19 outbreak, scientists have observed that children infected with the virus tend to fare much better than adults … researchers reported that levels of two immune system molecules — interleukin 17A (IL-17A), which helps mobilize immune system response during early infection, and interferon gamma (INF-g), which combats viral replication — were strongly linked to the age of the patients. The younger the patient, the higher the levels of IL-17A and INF-g, the analysis showed…these two molecules are part of the innate immune system, a more primitive, non-specific type of response activated early after infection.”
2. Studies by Ankit B. Patel and Dr. Supinda Bunyavanich show the virus uses the ACE 2 receptor to gain entry to the host cell, and the ACE 2 receptor has limited (less) expression and presence in the nasal epithelium in young children (potentially in upper respiratory airways).
This partly explains why children are less likely to be infected in the first place, or spread it to other children or adults, or even get severely ill. The biological molecular apparatus is simply not there in the nasopharynx of children. By bypassing this natural protection (limited nasal ACE 2 receptors in young children) and entering the shoulder deltoid, this could release vaccine, its mRNA and LNP content (e.g. PEG), and generated spike into the circulation that could then damage the endothelial lining of the blood vessels (vasculature) and cause severe allergic reactions (e.g., here, here, here, here, here).
3. William Briggs reported on the n=542 children who died (0-17 years (crude rate of 0.00007 per 100 and under 1 year old n=132, CDC data) since January 2020 with a diagnosis of COVID linked to their death. This does not indicate whether, as Johns Hopkins’ Dr. Marty Makary has been clamoring, the death was “causal or incidental.” That said, from January 2020, 1,043 children 0-17 have died of pneumonia.
Briggs reported:
“There is no good vaccine for pneumonia. But it could be avoided by keeping kids socially distanced from each other — permanently. If one death is “too many,” then you must not allow kids to be within contact of any human being who has a disease that may be passed to them, from which they may acquire pneumonia. They must also not be allowed in any
