My interview discussing the origin of Coronavirus, "gain of function" research, and key people aligned with creating and prolonging the pandemic

Here's the one hour video:
 https://www.facebook.com/13341879933/videos/1054051221691661/
Ronnie Cummins and Alexis Baden-Mayer of the Organic Consumers Association were wonderful to speak with about Covid-19, its murky origins, and the murky response.  Both the Organic Consumers Association and I are trying to get out critical information to the public on all aspects of coronavirus and the pandemic.
I encourage readers to consider signing one of two petitions calling for a ban on biological warfare (a.k.a. gain of function) research:
1.  For doctors, lawyers, scientists and policy experts to sign
2.  For everyone else to sign
----------------
With respect to a new comment about me being the only person saying this is a lab-derived organism, that is hardly the case.
I would say, instead, that Andersen K et al. in Nature Med last March is the only scientific paper claiming it isn't.  And that paper has been widely criticized, not only by me but many others.  It makes no sense, among other things.
A recent 48 page summary of much of the evidence is here:
https://changingtimes.media/2020/10/12/ ... -traction/
There is plenty of evidence for a lab origin on my blog, going back to late March.  I have simply moved on to analyze other aspects of the pandemic more recently.

Cloak and Gavel: FBI Wiretaps, Bugs, Informers, and the Supreme Court
by Alexander Charns, Alexander Charnes
The separation of powers becomes a meaningless cliche as Alexander Charns – using the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s own files – reveals how that agency undermined the independence of the U.S. Supreme Court for a half-century. FBI director J. Edgar Hoover’s goal was simple: to push the Supreme Court to the right on issues of civil rights and criminal law. His techniques ranged from illegal wiretapping to spreading disinformation, from using Justice Abe Fortas as an informant to trying to hound liberal Justice William O. Douglas off the bench. Cloak and Gavel, the definitive work on the FBI-Supreme Court relationship, is based on thousands of pages of FBI documents that Charns fought for eight years to obtain. One 2,000-page file was released only after he filed hundreds of Freedom of Information requests and brought lawsuits against the FBI. It establishes Hoover’s strategies to influence the Senate confirmation process, incite the public against the Warren court, lobby for legislation to counteract judicial rulings, and use numerous informants inside the Court to both monitor and influence it. Charns was given special permission to conduct research using Justice Abe Fortas’s papers, which had been sealed until the year 2000. These papers proved Fortas had acted as an informer for the White House and for the FBI during his tenure on the bench. Fortas ultimately left the Court in disgrace after an ethics scandal unrelated to his informant role. Charns also suggests that Hoover’s death did not end the FBI’s attempts to influence Congress and the federal judiciary – as evidenced by the role of the FBI in the explosive Clarence Thomas-Anita Hill Senate hearings in 1991. Until now, no one has examined the ultimate constitutional violation – the FBI’s attempts to influence the Court by any means available.

Contract Killer: The Explosive Story of the Mafia’s Most Notorious Hitman Donald “Tony the Greek” Frankos Hardcover – January 1, 1993
by William Hoffman (Author), Lake Headley (Author)
Donald “Tony the Greek” Frankos says he killed Jimmy Hoffa and knows where the body is buried. Now in prison, he casually confesses to scores of murders, although only a few are detailed here. His story is told as a first-person narrative, a style that tends to encourage the reader’s empathy. Frankos does not deserve it, but his tale is nonetheless chilling and revealing. Hoffman and private investigator Headley say they verified Frankos’s allegations, the most startling being that he bribed prison officials to grant him illegal “furloughs” and used the time to carry out “hits.” (Including Hoffa’s)

The back story is Tony Frankos was given a vicious
beating in prison from which he never fully recovered
after the release of his book.
FBI agents have been doing damage control ever since.
See this essay about Frankos.

THE WITSEC MAFIA is a confederacy of criminals turned government witnesses who have committed heinous crimes, often murder, that after selling out their cohorts are being released from prison and presented to the public as “changed men,” while at the same time? They’re being supported by corrupt journalists, lawyers and other enablers including rogue federal agents as they game the witness protection program and commit new crimes against innocent civilians, in many cases with other career criminals turned government informants who they’ve reunited with, all under the watchful eyes and protection of the federal government

No difference between Trump and Biden

Do you want someone on the board of a company connected to the brutal Saudi war in Yemen to serve as the next Secretary of Defense?
President-elect Joe Biden is expected to select notorious war-hawk Michele Flournoy, who supported the wars in Iraq, Libya and Syria when she worked at the Pentagon and is on the board of military IT contractor Booz Allen Hamilton, as his candidate for Secretary of Defense. Contact your Senators right now and tell them: no weapons industry war-hawks in the President’s cabinet!
Flournoy's career has been marked by the unethical spinning of revolving doors between the Pentagon and consulting firms that help businesses procure Pentagon contracts. In 2018, she joined the board of Booz Allen Hamilton, an IT company that played an important role in Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s 2015 drive to consolidate power. Booz Allen employs dozens of retired American military personnel to train the Saudi Navy and provide logistics for the Saudi Army. They deny helping the Saudi war in Yemen, and if you believe that...
This is urgent: President-elect Biden could officially select his choice for Secretary of Defense as early as Thanksgiving and we can’t let his foreign policy be dictated by a former Pentagon official who sits on the board of a company connected to MbS and the brutal war in Yemen. Since all cabinet members must be approved by the Senate, we are starting our petition to the Senate NOW to oppose the appointment of Flournoy or any candidate in bed with the military contractors. Contact your Senators now!
It’s true — we probably won’t like anyone appointed to Secretary of Defense. But we must firmly oppose the fundamental conflict of interest that occurs when the official selected to oversee the Defense Department is beholden to the same companies that stand to gain enormous profit under their tenure. We oppose Michele Flournoy and any candidate for Secretary of Defense with ties to revolving doors of the Pentagon because when the military contractors calls the shots, we get:
❌ The sale of even more weapons to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, further fueling those repressive regimes and their war on Yemen
❌ More money wasted on the Pentagon — despite the country being in dire need of resources to combat the pandemic, stop climate change, and guarantee universal healthcare
❌ An escalation of the US’s reckless cold war with China — which could turn into a hot war, endangering millions of people around the globe
❌ More drones, more money for weapons contractors, more violence and more death, at home and abroad.
With this new administration and new progressive voices in Congress — Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman, for example — we have a real chance to prioritize peace over war. We already have efforts in the works to finally end U.S. support for the war on Yemen, slash the Pentagon budget, deescalate the growing conflict with China, and advocate for a New Good Neighbor Policy in Latin America. But these campaigns for peace, especially the work to end the war in Yemen, could be in serious trouble if Michele Flournoy, or anyone who shuffles between the revolving doors of the Pentagon and military contractors, is appointed to lead the Department of Defense. Tell Congress: Americans don’t want someone who has supported the war in Yemen running the U.S. military! Don’t support Michele Flournoy or any candidate with ties to military companies as Secretary of Defense!

Scientists Share Anthrax Info that FBI Left Out
December 6, 2010

Knowledgeable experts disagree with FBI’s conclusion that the alleged suspect, U.S. Army scientist Bruce Ivins, was the culprit. The FBI made that determination 3 days after Ivins’ death by suicide. The evidence of the case was never presented in a court of law and experts continue to analyze the scientific aspects and FBI’s handling of the investigation.
On November 29, 2010, a group of experts assembled by Kenneth Dillon at Scientia Press and UCLA-based researchers Dr. Peter Katona and Prof. Michael Intriligator, discussed the investigation, the scientific aspects, the lessons learned, and the broader implications of the case.
Experts included Paul Kemp, Dr. Ivins’ attorney,  John Ezzell, a former researcher at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases who hired Ivins, Ross Getman, attorney, Meryl Nass, MD, James VandeVelde, PhD and Leonard Cole, PhD.
A video of the entire proceeding can be purchased from Scientia Press at cost for $12.00.
Dr. Nass’s presentation focused on the myriad of problems with the FBI’s case against Ivins. FBI has failed to demonstrate that Ivins had either means, motive or opportunity to produce and mail the letters.  And Ivins’ death, from a Tylenol overdose, might have been preventable. Ivins overdosed on Tylenol PM on July 26, 2008, and died on July 29. But Nass said, medically speaking, the outcome of his overdose should have been different, given the fact that he was under continuous surveillance and an antidote to Tylenol overdose is very effective if given within 24 hours of a Tylenol ingestion.
The FBI is relying on new scientific techniques that identified a flask of anthrax used by Ivins as providing the parent spores used to produce the anthrax letter spores.  But approximately 400 people had access to the flask, and the spores may have been shared with unknown others.  So regardless of how good the scientific studies are that identify the flask, they fail to identify the person who grew and mailed the spores.
Dr. Nass is a member of the AHRP board of directors.
Below is an article about the gathering of experts in The Frederick News Post.

COVID19: THREE BITS OF SCIENCE THAT CDC, FAUCI AND FDA FORGOT, AND ONE THEY WOULD LIKE TO FORGET
07.14.2020 jameslyonsweiler Cures 9 comments
ONE OF THE MOST FRUSTRATING ASPECTS of how academic science conducts itself in the US is high reliance to SELECTIVE ATTENTION to information that suits one’s particular viewpoint in science. Graduate students writing theses or dissertations are expected to provide a reasonable approximation of a background of the foundations upon which their thesis is built. Somewhere along the way, some scientists have forgotten the ethics of the moral responsibility of providing an unbiased representation of the state of knowledge upon which they base their positions. To seek only confirming instances that match one’s own viewpoint is positivistic – and it is the essential driver of confirmation bias. CDC and Fauci’s reliance of the Selective Attention Bias is monumental is size and historically destructive in scope.
Here I outline a few rather important facts that CDC and Fauci (and thus the rest of public health and most of the US medical system) have forgotten. The result is a public health policy response in the US that is full of … holes, at immense cost to the well-being of society.
When I read headlines like “Scientists discover” X, Y or Z about Coronavirus”, I almost always groan. “We ALREADY KNOW that about coronviruses” is my response, and so off to Pubmed I go.
Here are some things we already know that are being forgotten, or ignored, in public health policy in the US (and elsewhere) on the COVID-19 response.
(1) Coronavirus antibodies don’t last. Based on a non-peer-reviewed study preprint of a King’s College Study that monitored SARS-CoV-2 antibody levels for three months, the media represents this as new because the researchers who have presented the data failed to provide a thorough representation of past studies – and the media failed to pick up on the reality of what we already know. We’ve known that the antibody response to coronaviruses in humans is shorter than that, say, for human rhinoviruses (the common cold) since 1990.
Here’s the study on coronviruses (1990):

More Than 2/3rds Of Americans Oppose Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccinations/ Zero Hedg

By "Tyler Durden" (ZeroHedge's anon.)
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/ ... ccinations
Ever since it burst out of Wuhan, China roughly one year ago, the coronavirus has created what one economist described as a "trilemma" - that is, the struggle to balance the inevitable tradeoffs between safeguarding public health, the economy and personal freedom.
In the US (and in many spots around Europe as well), some have pointed to skepticism surrounding the accelerated development process for the myriad COVID vaccine projects as a potential obstacle to achieving herd immunity, since a lack of public confidence might force some governments to try and unduly pressure citizens to accept the vaccine.
With all this in mind, policymakers and economists are struggling to pinpoint an acceptable trade-off between public health, economic health and personal freedom. Some analysts have taken to calling these conflicting priorities the coronavirus "trilemma". However these conflicts are resolved will be critical to the economic outlook in 2021, and with Wall Street increasingly expecting the US economy to slide back into contraction during Q4, speculation about the timing and

Testimony of a Computer Expert
The following is the written testimony submitted by computer expert Robert Strunk to Judge Richard Niehaus after the Judge had ruled in 1985 that the Cincinnatus PAC's suit against the Hamilton County Board of Elections was correct.
The Judge had stated in his ruling that: "There is no adequate and proper safeguard to prevent the computers from being programmed to distort the election results." This is one of the most superb statements ever issued by any computer expert since computers began to be used to count votes in the United States circa 1974.
The system Strunk is warning against is the CES IBM punch card system which is still being used in much of the nation in 1996. Despite Strunk's devastating expose of the weaknesses of the system, the Judge failed to provide a remedy to the wrong he had diagnosed, and the system is still used in Cincinnati as of this writing in May of 1996. - Jim Condit Jr.

POWERFUL MOBILE PHONE SURVEILLANCE TOOL OPERATES IN OBSCURITY ACROSS THE COUNTRY
CellHawk helps law enforcement visualize large quantities of information collected by cellular towers and providers.
Sam Richards
December 23 2020, 9:31 a.m.

UNTIL NOW, the Bartonville, Texas, company Hawk Analytics and its product CellHawk have largely escaped public scrutiny. CellHawk has been in wide use by law enforcement; the software is helping police departments, the FBI, and private investigators around the United States convert information collected by cellular providers into maps of people’s locations, movements, and relationships. Police records obtained by The Intercept reveal a troublingly powerful surveillance tool operated in obscurity, with scant oversight.
CellHawk’s maker says it can process a year’s worth of cellphone records in 20 minutes, automating a process that used to require painstaking work by investigators, including hand-drawn paper plots. The web-based product can ingest call detail records, or CDRs, which track cellular contact between devices on behalf of mobile service providers, showing who is talking to whom. It can also handle cellular location records, created when phones connect to various towers as their owners move around.
Such data can include “tower dumps,” which list all the phones that connected to a given tower — a form of dragnet surveillance. The FBI obtained over 150,000 phone numbers from a single tower dump undertaken in 2010 to try and collect evidence against a bank robbery suspect, according to a report from the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU.

How Cops Can Secretly Track Your Phone
Police use CellHawk to process datasets they routinely receive from cell carriers like AT&T and Verizon, typically in vast spreadsheets and often without a warrant. This is in sharp contrast to a better known phone surveillance technology, the stingray: a mobile device that spies on cellular devices by impersonating carriers’ towers, tricking phones into connecting, and then intercepting their communications. Unlike the stingray, CellHawk does not require such subterfuge or for police to position

"Grand County Coroner Raises Concern On Deaths Among COVID Cases
By Danielle Chavira
December 15, 2020 at 8:28 pm
KREMMLING, Colo. (CBS4) – Grand County isn’t the first to report a data discrepancy with COVID-19 deaths, but following a murder-suicide in the region the coroner is talking about the impact it may have.
“These two people had tested positive for COVID, but that’s not what killed them. The gunshot wound killed them and it’s very misleading for you to put numbers out there saying these people died from COVID when that’s not what they died from,” said Coroner Brenda Bock.
Bock said her investigation wasn’t finalized when the State of Colorado listed the two victims as dying with COVID-19.
“I realize yes, you’re trying to keep count of the numbers, but you need to do it right, and these people did not die of COVID, they died of gunshot wounds and that’s how it needs to be listed,” she said.
The state classifies COVID deaths in two ways:
·       Deaths caused by COVID-19:
·       The vital records death data is based on CDC coding of death certificates, and it reflects the number of deaths due to COVID-19, based on the expert judgment of health care providers and coroners.
·       The number comes from death certificates where COVID-19 is listed as the cause of death or a significant condition contributing to death.
·       This number is determined by the CDC and is updated daily for dates through the previous Saturday.
·       Deaths among people who died with COVID-19:
·       The epidemiological death data reflects people who died with COVID-19, but COVID-19 may not have been the cause of death listed on the death certificate. It comes from two sources:
·       From health care providers and laboratories that report cases to the state using a national case definition.
·       From state-reviewed death certificates where COVID-19 is listed as the cause of death or a significant condition contributing to death. These death certificates may not yet have been coded by the CDC.
·       This information is required by the CDC and is crucial for public health surveillance, as it provides more information about disease transmission and can help identify risk factors among all deaths across populations.
The state’s website states, “The number of deaths due to COVID-19 are not necessarily included in the number of deaths among people with COVID-19. After review, at either the state or national level, some deaths may not be counted as COVID-19 deaths. This is rare, and the expectation is that in the end the numbers will closely align.” [sic]
The state will often collect data before the death certificates are signed, because that process can take weeks. This gives epidemiologists a faster and better picture of how serious the spread is and how it’s impacting the general population.
“Today, Colorado’s reporting 4,156 COVID deaths, these are actually deaths among cases. Then they show 3,230 deaths due to COVID, and so they’re differentiating that, but I think it can maybe go a little further and I think the policy could be changed,” said Richard Cimino, Grand County Commissioner for District 1.
Cimino says while the state is doing a decent job at making a discrepancy, he agrees with Bock. It could be done better, and while the death count won’t impact where Grand County sits on the states dial, for a rural community, just one death from COVID impacts public perception.
“If they could let the coroners weigh in and take a little bit of time and make that determination early on you won’t have those big swings in numbers that might really alarm our population.”
Currently, the state has five deaths from COVID-19 listed in Grand County, while the Grand County website shows one.
Bock says she reached out to other coroners across the state with questions, “And I got replies back from 80% of the coroners in the state all stating the same thing. They’ve all had the same problems, and these are in small counties, so it’s easy for us to keep track of our numbers.”
She said she reached out to the state asking for the recent deaths to be discounted from the COVID-19 death toll, but hasn’t heard back. She hopes other counties speak up and help influence change in the way deaths are counted.
“I can’t do it alone they need to step up to the plate, too, they need to back me on this; they need to fix the way that they’re reporting the numbers,” she said.
CBS4 reached out to the CDPHE for comment, and was directed to classification information on its website. More information can be found here: cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/covid-19.htm#understanding-the-numbers."

FBI’s Newest Prerogative: Shooting Subway Passengers
BY JAMES BOVARD

Was the torrent of media editorials and exposes denouncing police violence earlier this year all a sham?
Thirty-six years ago, Bernie Goetz pulled a pistol and shot four youths who were shaking him down on the New York subway. This was front-page news for weeks and spurred a deluge of anti-gun denunciations as well as condemnations of routine subway violence. Goetz was later acquitted by a jury on criminal assault and attempted murder charges.
Last Tuesday, an FBI agent pulled out his gun and repeatedly shot a passenger on the Washington subway. At the bottom of B6 in Saturday’s Washington Post – buried past an article headlined, “Despite the upcoming solstice, winter has already arrived” is a short piece headlined: “Police:‘Verbal exchange’ preceded Metro shooting.” There were zero news reports or disclosures for the two days after the shooting – except for a brief FBI note that there had been an “officer-involved shooting” on the subway.
What did the passenger say that provoked the shooting? It’s a secret – at least for the time being.
Did the FBI agent “go postal” after being taunted about J. Edgar Hoover wearing dresses?
Did the guy who was shot say “Black Lives Matter” or, even more recklessly, “All Lives Matter?”
Did the FBI agent lose control because someone violated Metro rules by eating an Egg McMuffin on the train?
Did the victim forget to say “Thank you for your service” to the FBI agent?
The Washington Post blocked all comments on the article, an unusual step that occurs when readers are prone to expose the cravenness or servility of Post articles that merely recycle government talking points on potentially explosive subjects.
If someone had shot an FBI agent without provocation on the subway five days ago, we would already know all about the shooter’s life – how many cat videos he liked on Twitter, how many crude jokes he told in h

Russia is developing world’s first Covid-19 antidote, preclinical studies show drug effectiveness of more than 99%
30 Dec, 2020 13:3

Russia's Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) has announced the development of a drug to fight against Covid-19, which would become the world's first direct-acting antiviral antidote if clinical trials are successful.
According to Veronika Skvortsova, the head of FMBA, studies thus far have shown it is more than 99% effective.
“This is the first etiotropic drug that directly affects the virus. In fact, this is an antidote for coronavirus infection,” she informed Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Wednesday, noting that preclinical studies have been completed, which have shown the remedy to be “completely safe” and “highly efficient.”
Etiotropic means that the treatment is directed against the cause of a disease.

Skvortsova told the prime minister that the FMBA is ready to apply for permission for further testing, which they hope to get before the New Year.
“If clinical trials confirm the effectiveness of this drug, it will be the first safe, effective, direct-acting antiviral drug that has no analogs in the world,” she explained.
The FMBA is also working on a separate drug for the treatment of the most complex coronavirus cases, which suppresses and prevents a physiological reaction called ‘hypercytokinemia’. Also known as a ‘cytokine storm’, it is an immune response that leads to body tissue damage, and is thought by some to be causing Covid-19 deaths.
In May, the Russian Ministry of Health approved an anti-coronavirus drug called ‘Avifavir’, a Favipiravir-based treatment that has been used in Japan since 2014 against severe forms of influenza. The medication is being produced domestically.

If effective, the antidote won't be Russia's only breakthrough during the Covid-19 crisis. Earlier this year, Russia became the first country to announce the registration of a coronavirus vaccine named Sputnik V. After trials, it was revealed to be 95 percent effective in producing antibodies after 40 days. Earlier this month, Putin ordered the start of mass vaccination, with it eventually beginning in Moscow on December 5.

My "Rapid Response" to the BMJ about the concept "Fitness to Vaccinate"

Re: Covid-19: Doctors in Norway told to assess severely frail patients for vaccination/ Fitness for Vaccination

The deaths of frail elderly after vaccination, and subsequent guidance to Norwegian doctors to perform an assessment instead of issuing universal guidance on vaccinations for their patients, has reanimated an old medical concept: fitness for vaccination.
Vaccination used to be an individual decision, made jointly by patient and doctor, that the benefits of a vaccine for that patient exceeded the expected harms. Patients paid small sums to be vaccinated.
Payment systems changed, and the government or insurance companies took over paying for vaccinations. Then the Affordable Care Act in the US waived all copayments, allowing pharmacies and grocery stores to advertise "free" vaccinations while you shop. Pediatricians were given bonuses if they reached assigned target levels of "fully vaccinated" children, which could amount to tens of thousands of dollars.
Vaccine mandates were brought in, and became tighter over the ensuing years. Children who are not fully vaccinated cannot attend school in certain states, regardless of their religious or philosophical orientation.
To make the mandates work, the concept of "fitness for vaccination" was undermined, then deeply buried. All vaccines became "safe and effective."
It is a tragedy that deaths and anaphylactic events have occurred following Covid vaccinations. But maybe some good will come of it, by focusing awareness on the fact that vaccines are drugs, whose use is never absolutely risk free. Let us hope that the idea of establishing fitness for vaccination has been permanently disinterred.

Police Obedience and Racialization
BY STEVE MARTINOT

What good is a constitution if you can’t use it? What good is it if it tells you how to govern and you say: “we can’t govern that way.” What good is it if it proclaims democracy and you use it to dominate people? When the cops enact their brutality toward black people, are they making themselves a “role model”? Is that the source of their constitutionality?
In the previous article about “Police Use of Force,” the following was established:
§  When the public calls for minimum use of force by the police, the police not only resist, but increase their violence against the people.
§  The police have the (court-given) right to demand obedience from the people.
§  There are three institutions in which obedience can be demand: the military (enlistment), the prison (conviction), and the corporate bureaucracy (employment). Civil society is not one.
§  To be forced to obey a command in civil society is to be placed within a military-type institution without consent.
§  To be forced to obey the pedestrian commands of anyone without consent is a violation of the 5th Amendment. It is a deprivation of liberty without due process of law.
§  “Civilians” are people who have neither enlisted nor consented to membership in a military institution, nor to its obedience structure. They belong to “civil society.”
§  To use force against a civilian to make them obey is a violation of the Constitution.
§  To demand pedestrian obedience from a civilian (not under arrest) is to change their civil status. They become part of a military organization without consent.
§  The police have been given the power to determine the legitimacy (and relevance) of their pedestrian commands.
§  To adopt a “commanding officer” stance toward a civilian is an act of violence against them.
§  To change a person’s civil status without consent or due process is an act of state violence.
§  For “militarized” command-giving police, there is no “zero-level” force to which to reduce their violence.
§  To use force against a non-compliant civilian is a violation of their human rights.
§  To punish pedestrian non-compliance is already excessive force, in excess of militarization.
§  Police violence, when accompanied by racial profiling, is an act of white supremacy.
§  The courts have ruled that a person must obey a “lawful order,” but nowhere have the courts or legislature defined what juridically constitutes a lawful order in a pedestrian context. The “legal” concept of a “lawful order” is thus provided to the police as a “wildcard” to use for social control.
Obedience and militarization
What does all this mean?

The Federal Bureau of Investigation's
Control Over Weapons and Laptop Computers
Report No. 02-27
August 2002
Office of the Inspector General

FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
I. ACTIONS TAKEN ON LOST AND STOLEN ITEMS
* FBI data show that between October 1, 1999 and January 31, 2002, a total of 212 functional weapons, 142 "red handle" training weapons, and 317 laptop computers were reported as either lost or stolen.  We determined that in several instances missing FBI weapons were subsequently used in the commission of a crime or were recovered at the scene of a crime.  In many instances, the loss of weapons and/or laptop computers was preventable because it resulted from carelessness on the part of individual employees or failure to adhere to FBI policies.
In this section of the report, we examine the FBI’s actions taken on lost and stolen items.  Our discussion focuses on the following topics:  Items Reported; Reports and Investigations of Losses; and Indications of Public Harm.
Items Reported
As of August 2001, the FBI reported that it had approximately 50,000 weapons and 15,000 laptop computers.  However, significant numbers of both items were known to be missing.
The following table displays the numbers of missing items as of four dates mentioned in this report: July 11, 2001; January 31, 2002; March 31, 2002; and the period from October 1, 1999 through January 31, 2002.

FBI Missing Firearms, Computers

W A S H I N G T O N,
-- Justice Department officials are investigating the disappearance of 449 firearms and 184 laptop computers — at least one containing classified information — from the FBI.
One weapon was stolen from an FBI agent's car in Alabama and later used in a shooting in Detroit, an FBI official said.

The false ivermectin narrative begins

An Austrian independent journalist, writing in German and google-translated, wrote the following article on February 7.
"In their fight against the low-cost HCQ - which, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic properties, has also proven effective in the early treatment of high-risk patients - the opponents published a fictional study in the Lancet (the Surgisphere scandal) and conducted studies of toxic overdoses in ICU patients (the “SOLIDARITY” and “RECOVERY” studies [and several others--Nass]). But ivermectin is very difficult to overdose, and unlike HCQ, it works as a prophylaxis against infection and even in ICU patients.
Hence, it would be much more difficult to design a deceptive study against ivermectin.
Dozens of studies and several meta-studies have already established that the inexpensive ivermectin is highly effective against Covid. In January even the US NIH had to change its stance from “negative” to “neutral”. Ivermectin's opponents had to act, but they knew it wasn't going to be easy this time.
Eventually a "solution" was found: the US pharmaceutical company Merck - one of the makers of the patent-free ivermectin - has published a statement in which it simply claims without evidence that its (unpublished) "analysis" has "no scientific basis for a potential therapeutic one Effect against COVID-19 from preclinical studies; no conclusive evidence of clinical activity or clinical effectiveness in patients with COVID-19 disease; and a worrying lack of safety data in the majority of studies. "
An employee of the US National Institutes retweeted the testimony of Merck quickly adding, "Merck's statement on Ivermectin is the leadership and commitment to quality translational science that we need to see from pharmaceutical / biotech." In reality, the assertion by Merck is completely unfounded and also contradicting its own history : after Merck has safely sold ivermectin for several decades, it is now suddenly questioning its safety."
I saw the tweet about Merck's warning regarding the safety and efficacy of Ivermectin in Covid. Merck's President and CEO is attorney Ken Frazier, who has presided over the company since 2011. He has gotten a lot of press, and I will repeat some of it.
Frazier was the Merck attorney who decided to fight every Vioxx cases, and (it was claimed) this reduced Merck's liability from a potential $50 billion to about $5 billion dollars, for hiding the fact that Vioxx caused strokes and heart attacks, and had caused perhaps 50,000 excess deaths in users. Frazier later ascented to the Merck presidency.  In this role, he was feted by the industry.
Frazier is black.  His father was a janitor.  He was said to idolize Roy Vagelos, a physician researcher and former Merck President Chairman, for offering to provide and distribute ivermectin to the world's poor, for free, for however long it took to rid the world of river blindness (onchocerciasis).
Ivermectin was considered a breakthrough drug when it was developed by Merck from a unique streptomyces bacterial product in the 1970s. According to the Merck Manual, "Onchocerciasis was virtually eradicated in participating West African countries (except Sierra Leone) by aerial insecticide spraying... and ivermectin therapy..."
 According to the World Bank,
"in 28 countries of the 31 African countries where river blindness is endemic, people no longer go blind from the disease. This victory against river blindness has been possible because of a wonder drug called ivermectin, which now reaches and protects 100 million people across a vast swathe of Africa.... Looking back on 40 years of partnership, World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim noted that back in the day when there were scant resources for global health, this decision to donate ivermectin for as long as was needed in Africa was a “game changing intervention” by Merck and all other partners."
According to StatNews, "In his remarks, Frazier would often conjure up this Merck, the valiant drug maker that was in it, in the words of founder George Merck, “for the people, not the profits.”
Frazier will be stepping down as CEO in the next few months, but will remain Merck's Chairman. He must have concurred with the decision to suppress ivermectin for Covid.
The Merck advisory that came out on February 7 states:
* No scientific basis for a potential therapeutic effect against COVID-19 from pre-clinical studies;
* No meaningful evidence for clinical activity or clinical efficacy in patients with COVID-19 disease, and;
* A concerning lack of safety data in the majority of studies.
We do not believe that the data available support the safety and efficacy of ivermectin beyond the doses and populations indicated in the regulatory agency-approved prescribing information.
It turns out that the benefits of ivermectin for Covid disease prophylaxis were known by some at least as early as April 6, 2020. Thanks to thenewsteader.com, I learned that a French company with US financial backing named MedinCell had announced last April that Australian researchers had shown that the drug was effective in vitro against SARS-CoV-2:
An April 6, 2020 press release by the pharmaceutical company Medincell, which receives a lot of funding by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation states, “The FDA-approved Drug Ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro.”
April 23, 2020: This Release was put out by Bloomberg: MedinCell: Adapt and overcome in response to the Covid-19 crisis
Reading further into the MedinCell release, there is this gem:
“MedinCell announced on April 6, 2020, its Covid-19 project launched a few weeks ago. This program aims at developing a long-acting injectable Ivermectin formulation for several months to protect people who are not infected with Covid-19 in order to break the virus chain of transmission. Such a tool could play a decisive role in the management of Covid-19 pandemic, by enabling many people around the world, especially those most exposed and at risk, to protect themselves.”
MedinCell is developing an injectable version of Ivermectin specifically for the treatment/prevention of Covid-19. This delivery system is new for Ivermectin and therefore can be patented, and a cheap pill suddenly becomes a $3,000 a shot.

December 17, 2020: Covid-19: MedinCell presents positive first results from the clinical trial aiming at validating the safety of continuous administration of Ivermectin
This week alone, we heard about two new wonder drugs for Covid out of the University of North Carolina and Israel.
But why are we looking for wonder drugs when we appear to already have one, ivermectin, whose developers won the Nobel prize for it in 2015?
We seem to be repeating the hydroxychloroquine tale.  Knowledge of the drug was somehow suppressed, except for small numbers of people.  The FLCCC doctors have been trying to get the word out about ivermectin for many months, but have been prevented from accessing the mainstream media.  When they finally got to present their data to a Senate hearing, clips from the hearing were banned on YouTube.  (Google's YouTube also suppressed information on hydroxychloroquine.)
I will be continuing to report on this story as more details are uncovered.  For now, I urge you to spread the word.  Merck's Ken Frazier needs to be known not as the good guy who continued to donate ivermectin for river blindness, but as the bad guy who is trying to prevent Americans from purchasing his drug (Merck is the only US manufacturer) to save their lives from Covid.
Let me repost the link for evidence on Ivermectin, which includes 38 studies.  The evidence of the drug's benefit is overwhelming.

Federal law enforcement agencies are “generally unprepared “ to adopt the widespread use of body cameras, according to a new report from the Justice Department’s Inspector General.
The report comes after the Justice Department said earlier this month that it would begin requiring federal agents to wear body cameras while executing raids and serving arrest warrants.
In the last decade, the Justice Department issued $150 million in grants for camera programs, but none of that money went to the ATF, FBI, DEA, or U.S. Marshals Service.

In a courtroom crowded with his friends from law enforcement, a former FBI official was sentenced yesterday to six years in prison for torturing his girlfriend at knifepoint and gunpoint during a six-hour ordeal in her Crystal City high-rise apartment.
Carl L. Spicocchi, 55, a 19-year FBI veteran who had run the Toledo office and was on temporary assignment in Washington, pleaded guilty in Arlington County Circuit Court last year to two felony counts of abduction and using a firearm in the Aug. 23 attack.
