I don't know what Rick Caruso's monstrosity (The Grove) replaced but there's still the Farmers Market structure on 3rd and Fairfax.

Thanks for the good news, Rory! I'm glad it's still there, even if it is reduced. Yeah, the whole Farmer's Market area used to extend beyond 3rd and Fairfax into what is now The Grove. Glad there's still some good eats there.

Walking up the steps of Angel's Flight railway was the perfect ending for our downtown LA sojourn.

It was certainly a long walk, but the view of downtown LA just grew prettier the higher we climbed.
