Hope you are all right and still alive, dear. It was great to rub the ethereal appendages with you, fella.
All the best.

Seconding this, albeit a bit late to do so maybe. Op Ed was made of solid knowledge, and nearly always made me laugh as well. He took flak, and gave it, with aplomb. A true gentleman, except when he pretended not to be, and he probably would've hated being called a gentleman too, which is cool.

You're probably just not doing it properly.

i never intended to leave. just found myself astonishingly busy. very. astonishingly. busy.

[exposition on this later, in a more appropriate place]

plus i had a whole list of things i needed before being certain i could afford internet service, and i work too much to conveniently use the free sort that exists in places like this here library, at least anywhere near often enough to have a discussion. however, i've reconfigured most of my life [stopped doing drugs mostly] in order to have it again very soon. Where's Alaya?

I thought we might hear from her in the Joe Bageant thread.

I miss her.

I'm here. Too sad to post about Joe. Aw...we all read each others minds around here anyway.

Been ignoring a lot because it all makes me want to cry. Been playing too much at Poker Stars to distract and avoid.

Glad you're still around.

Things have been a bit much to bear for me, too, lately. I wish I could just bury my head in the sand for a while.

I've been pulling the covers over my head at night. Something I've never done before.

We're destroying our beautiful planet. We're engaging in endless war. I can hardly stand to look any more so I squint with one eye.

I now have a sense of impermanence as if an existing precognition of it has finally been verified. It's sad beyond words, but also unsurprising, except in terms of timing, and yet that only speaks again to denial.

All things good to you, as can be, Alaya.

I think I've discovered what Hugh's been gettin' into.

As per the admin's recommendations on keeping everyone informed, I'm alerting the cast of thousands that brekin has been suspended for a week for trolling the misogyny thread.

Whoop-de-doo for the formalities.

But I'm really here looking for my man, nathan28. Where be ye? Vanished once more into the aether?
