As to eyeno, well, I doubt sincerely that he is gone from the membership rolls.

Passion is a wonderful thing to have around here, but there's more important things in life than being right.

To boil it down, what he said was that you people are stuck in your constipated categories and refuse to get out of your heads and interact with the world as it is!

Give me just one example of this, or lots if you have them, but one will suffice.

Do you agree with that assessment?

For example some interaction we had on the peak oil thread. I was arguing for and he against ... he treated me with respect and responded to requests for clarification of his perspective.
For example, his interest in dutchsinse (sp?) which was interesting and way outside the box.
For example, his many comments on the validity of esoteric thinking which I found thought provoking.
For example, his ongoing information on various possible herbal protections against radiation. For example, his valuable contributions on the "Evils of wheat" thread.
I can go on if I go back through the archives.
Suffice it to say that I value these sorts of posts because they are outside of my normal field of view. You may not. You may think they are worthless drivel. That is your right. But I appreciated his outside the box thinking and posts and I wanted to take the opportunity to say it in case he happens to check in here in the future.
I added the remainder of my quote to your question (in bold).
All I can say is, of course I do! Wars are fought over constipated categories. People die because of constipated categories. We will drain the earth of all its resources because of constipated categories. Human beings will continue to call each other idiots because they don't abide by their own particular set of constipated categories.
To boil it down, what he said was that you people are stuck in your constipated categories and refuse to get out of your heads and interact with the world as it is!
What inevitably happens on a message board and in modern life is that the people with the tightest categories and the strongest belief in those categories dominate the proceedings.
What extraverted intuition tells us is that there is more to life than raw intellect and emotional detachment (amongst other things) ... and that it is entirely possible to tear up the script and write a new story. That is not always a welcome message.
I just think the eyeno got a bad rap because his posts didn't meet certain important people's standards for quality. Instead of just letting him do his thing, some important posters thought they sussed out that eyeno was a shill and a fraud. Since the people doing the harassing were prominent and the mods did not object, the view was generally accepted. Eyeno became fair game on the board for whoever wanted to take pot shots at him.

Ever heard of the "Holy Land" where Jesus came from? Why, pray tell, do you think, that this god forsaken piece of shit rock land is the hottest property on the planet?
Answer: Bible Lore Value
We are building a new religion in which the Jews will be worshiped as Gods. Being an authentic Jewish person is not a criteria for being worshiped. Oh the contrary...Real Judaism is being destroyed as we speak and so is Christianity. The only criteria for being jewish in the future will be this >>>"being in the know"...and all other features will be erased. Same for Christians.
A new religion is being built right in front of your eyes. Behold its power. It is the religion of the future. Christianity has been bastardized into Israel worship. The future religion will be a whole world worshiping Israel and the chosen ones, which ironically, will have absolutely nothing at all to do with real actual Judaism at it's root form from thousands of years ago.
Sit back, relax, and watch it form on the wall all like a spider web because this is the plan.
I just happen to think those doing the sussing were wrong about him and I stated why in my post.
And that is really about all I have to say. He's gone. It's over. If no one else misses his posts and his perspective that's fine. But this is the place to toast banned and disappeared posters and that's what I'm doing.
Saurian Tail wrote:I'm going to stick up for Eyeno and say that thought he was one of the most unusual and creative thinkers on the board. I feel fairly certain that if I were to sit down and have a beer with him, I would have come away with a fistful of novel ideas to think about.
I think you guys are wrong about the reason for him not taking responsibility for the sources and content of his posts. From my perspective, what was going on was a classic disagreement in strategy between introverted and extraverted intuitives.
As introverted intutives, think of all the crazy ideas that go through your head that never see the light of day ... you sift and sort through those ideas until you get something that makes some sense (with verified sources) before you put it out for public consumption.
So now imagine turning that inside out. Imagine that when those random ideas come into your head, you go right ahead and put them out to see what other people have to say about it and to find out what other related ideas are out there that you are unaware of. Its a completely different way of going about your information gathering.
So extraverted intuitives get called morons a lot! Because what comes out of their mouths tends to be off the wall, not politically correct, and not terribly well thought out. But when you understand what is happening in their heads, you will find a wealth of fascinating information and outside the box solutions to problems. To them nothing is sacred and nothing is completely impossible. The solution is "out there" somewhere. Their job is to go find it through interaction with their external environment and relationships.
Eyeno's meltdown was classic extraverted intuition. To boil it down, what he said was that you people are stuck in your constipated categories and refuse to get out of your heads and interact with the world as it is! In fact, that is the essential message extraverted intuitives have to offer the world.
Well, I could be wrong and eyeno could have been a troll. But its not the way I saw it.
