Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.

Could've gone in the "Eastern modalities konami barbecue" thread. If we had one of those.

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

Toshiya Yamanaka, composer

Pondering those age-old questions this morning... Which version of a Gradius soundtrack is better; arcade, or console port?

arcade

nes

PCEngine version is nice, too. And there are three different mixes of the Sharp X68000 one.

In the far future, wars will be fought over this.

On the MSX, the game has a different title, and an entirely different soundtrack. A highly unorthodox future war-fighting strategy.
